Remarks
I would say the main concern with college is the food that they will provide and another majoy concer is the work with administration office. I seriously tell you if you find any work with start that work a week earlier to the deadline.
Course Curriculum Overview
Good curriculum. It is adopting to the latest trends in society. The exam structure is very good and I can say that it's the most transparent way of dealing with exams. Any malpractice, you will be out of the exam and very strict action will be taken thereafter. So don't malpractice in Amrita.
Placement Experience
Considering the fact that the present scenario in India is not great with available jobs we can say Amrita has great placements. But for other branches other than CSE you can't expect much opportunities. But other branches can attend some CSE placements.
College Events
Many college festivals will be there. Starting with Bharat Mata puja on Aug 15th, there will be gyrupournami, college festivals like anokha, vidyut. Then comes kalotsavam which is highlight of all events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its quite expensive for middle class families. Now it reaches 3.2 lakhs per year which includes hostel and food. But being a reputed college every bank will give loan for studends who are capable of providing some assets as surity.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarships available but it is not for all students. It is very limited in number and it will not be applicable for all. Loans for amrita is one of the easiest process as far as banks are concerned.
Campus Life
You can find n number of extra curricular activities. Right from service to society to playing games, organising events. But only problem is ground is not that huge and due to the location you will find the ground with rain water at least 1/4 th year.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is not that great in relative aspects with other colleges and its not too bad either. We can expect moderate facilities. The food is worse. The great part with food is if you are capable of eating food there you can survive with any kind of food.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are the best way to learn new things and will give a lot of benefits not only with college but with the ways to lead our life. Without seniors help its very difficult to enjoy the stay in one of the beautiful colleges of India.
Admission
I wrote an online exam and with the rank I got they invited me to counselling and I made it. There will be alloted seats for each category and if you have seats available in that category by the time your profile comes you can get admission in this college.
Faculty
One of the best faculty available and you can find some overrated faculty too. Overall the teaching staff is good and there are many assistant proffesors which are excellent. Their qualification does not justify their worth. Many are more worth than their qualification.
