Studied at NIT Jamshedpur

As a student of NIT Jamshedpur, I can tell you of some of its benefits which you might not get in some other NIT(s).

You might get a single seater hostel room. This is beneficial if you want to prepare for some exams like GATE/IES/CAT.
The hostels are in good condition and rooms are well furnished. The hostels also have indoor and outdoor games facilities, internet facility, and mess facility.
Though the academic infrastructure isn’t top notch, new construction is underway.
The placements are really good and ahead of many NITs. As per 2023 placement data, the institute recorded the highest CTC of INR 83 LPA. The average CTC stood at INR 15.98 LPA. 250+ companies visited the campus, with 90+ new recruiters and 750+ offers.
