Absolutely not! Choosing a college based solely on the state quota for PG is a mistake. You must consider other crucial factors like: Academics, Faculty, Clinical exposure, Central government funding, Peer group, and Diversity. All these aspects are superior in AIIMS Delhi compared to MAMC. Regarding the PG state quota, it's unpredictable what will happen in 5.5/6 years. The quota could be withdrawn, implemented, or changed. Therefore, prioritizing a college based on the current status of the PG quota is shortsighted. At AIIMS, there will always be a preference for AIIMSonian candidates for PG, even if they score the same as non-AIIMSonian candidates.

If you have the caliber to crack AIIMS Delhi during your UG preparation, you can definitely do it again for your PG. You don’t necessarily need a state quota for that. However, having a state quota is a solid option and can make it easier to secure a PG seat. Doing your MBBS from AIIMS Delhi is a unique opportunity. Out of the lakhs of medical aspirants who take UG exams every year, only a select few gain admission here. Ultimately, it’s your choice. It may be challenging to get a PG seat after completing your MBBS at AIIMS Delhi, but the exposure you gain is invaluable. The opportunities are limitless due to it being a central institute with substantial funding. It all boils down to you. An institution can provide resources, but the rest is on you. If you have confidence in yourself and are willing to explore and take risks, choose AIIMS Delhi.

AIIMS Delhi truly stands out with its extensive clinical exposure and top-notch faculty, which could lead to better job prospects after graduation. The high stipend during internships, around 30,000, is also a significant advantage for students there. On the other hand, MAMC Delhi, while also a reputable institution, may not offer the same level of clinical involvement or internship benefits. Plus, AIIMS has a broader network and recognition, which can translate into more opportunities in the job market. If you're aiming for the best career outcomes and don't mind the rigorous schedule, AIIMS Delhi is the clear winner. However, if you prefer a slightly less intense environment, MAMC could be a good fit.

AIIMS Delhi clearly stands out with its rigorous curriculum that emphasizes early clinical exposure and a well-equipped faculty that is among the best in the country, offering a fantastic student-to-teacher ratio. The campus life is vibrant, featuring Asia's biggest med fest and numerous clubs for extracurricular engagement, which enriches the overall experience. While MAMC Delhi also offers solid education, it lacks the extensive resources and opportunities for clinical practice that AIIMS provides. If you want a top-tier medical education with abundant extracurricular activities, go for AIIMS Delhi. However, if you prefer a more intimate setting and a slightly different culture, consider MAMC.
