I still reminisce about the endless HD movies and TV shows we could download from the college server. The campus is full of fresh air and greenery, and the canteen offers tasty food at super affordable prices. The library is packed with bestselling novels, which is a huge plus! The campus really comes to life during the Science Conclave and the Effervescence nights, making it look spectacular, like a royal crown.
The best part, though, is the friendships and memories you'll create there, which truly make it a special place. Alright, I'll stop going on about it now!
I think you'll find a lot to enjoy here, though you might want to brace yourself for some not-so-great hostel food, occasional tough weather, and the infamous Sanjeev Sir. But on the bright side, the campus is stunning, and the hostels are pretty nice. You'll find an activity center and a music room, and the labs are quite impressive. The teaching staff is a mix of really smart folks and some who are still learning, and your fellow students are amazing to hang out with.
As for Allahabad, the city has its charm. It’s affordable, with tasty food options ranging from restaurants to street stalls. Getting around is cheap, and the locals are generally pretty welcoming. Don’t miss the chance to visit the confluence of the rivers at the Sangam. Also, the Naini Bridge is a great spot to chill out, but be careful not to go there if you've been drinking—safety first!
Your college years are going to be amazing. These four years will be some of the best times you'll ever have. Expect late-night meals, chats that stretch into the night, cramming for exams at the last minute, and bonding with both seniors and juniors. You'll also get your first taste of doing laundry and maybe even make a mess of it!
Make sure to enjoy every moment so you won't look back with any regrets. By the way, I've attended IIIT-H, not IIIT-A, but this advice fits almost any college experience.
