The faculties are good but as there is only two departments in Indian institute of information technology SURAT very less faculty are there and they give all their attentions to the children of Indian institute of information technology SURAT if they needed

The Seniors of the college organizes College Fest regularly and don't even charge any extra fees like other college.The Director is very helpful and listent to the problem of students, he even provided Costly equipments to students for reasearch.
Most of the faculty's don't have any ego issues and are friendly like family members.They even provide IMP's before Examinations.The Labs are fully maintained have got decent amount of equipments.If a instrument gets damaged it gets replaced few days

I am Studying in a Computer Science course and Faculty to Student Ratio is Approximately 2:17 if all facultys of all subject are counted.All the Faculties are Very Good and Skilled.For eg:-Nishad Deshpande Sir who is our Engineering Physics Teacher is very Knowledgeable Persons and can even be compared to teachers of IIT Bombay.There is no Faculty Which i didnt liked as all of them were helpfull at all stages if you constantly ask them questions.The Exams Pattern is 2 Quizes of Ten marks 30 marks of Mid-Semester Exams and 100 marks End-Semester Exams which is then converted to 50 marks.Hence the Paper weightage become 100 marks. You will be guided about grading systems and exams tips once you join the college and the exams are of High Difficulty for only Physics subject.

faculties are very nice and supporting they will always support you and guide in every field . currently having absolute marking schemes with new curriculum according to new education policy. and learning according to company requirements.

Review of iiit surat

The teaching is good, there are professors who have indepth knowledge in subject and offcourse there exist some professors who doesn't have any knowledge.

Faculty to student ratio is quite good it's around 1 faculty for 40 students. Some faculties are quite interactive and some just come to class, explains the chapter and leaves ,they don't even try to interact with students. Few faculties are good they have in depth knowledge in their subject and explain quite well. Their will be 4 exams and practicals(not for every subject) in each semester. 1 end sem of 100 marks and few(2 credit sibjects) 60 marks , 1 mid of 30 marks and few(2 credit subjects) 20 marks , 2 quiz each of 10 marks and no quiz exam for less credit exams. The exams are moderate and they don't ask questions out of syllabus, so even if you start a week before exams you can score quite good marks. This college has absolute grading and it may take many years to change it to relative grading. More than 90-95% students clear the exam. The curriculum is one of the best as we don't have subjects lile engineering graphics , engineering chemistry and many unwanted subjects.

20 to 25 total faculties. And each year atleast 140 students are there so u can think what is the ratio. Some faculties are easy going and some are tough. Faculties till now i have are kindda easy going.

About my college

The college is good and all the teachers are good they teach well but they don't clear doubts.the exams are comparatively easy .and the practical exams are easy and most of the students have passed the exams

IIIT SURAT IS IN BUILDING PHASE

The exams are hectic which has 2 quiz then 1 midsem and a final endsem the syllabus is wise so you have to study a lot to score higher and the company's come with a benchmark of some cgpa Faculties are temporarily working here

Facilities here are very nice we can share any problem with them also the director is very responsive. There are 2 main exams mid sem and end sem and two quizes prior each exams. And practical exams also conducted.

IIIT SURAT KA PURAAN

Faculty members are knowledgable but the curriculum seems clumpsy, though the electronics also mix of more computer science subjects. But the examination system is not that hard but still papers are decent tough. Correction is also not that strict but passing in labs need a little skill

IIIT Surat is best among all the IIITs!!

Number of faculties are quite high given the number of students that we have here. Their quality and teaching method can't be questioned as they are just too good in their job. Glorifying them not just to be in their good books but they deserve all the kudos.
