How are the hostels at Pondicherry University?

Rooms are shared by two people, and have a cupboard for each person. The warden visit the hostel like once in a blue moon. Registration process for hostel was very easy and all , I don't even remember doing it. The meal quality was not upto the standard. Sometimes it's good , sometimes it's crap. We get non-veg biryani every Sunday and that's a relief and also chicken curry every Thursday. The meals are atleast not same everyday that's a relief.

I stay in the college hostel itself. It is newly built and much better when compared to other hostels in the university. The hostel rooms are well arranged and comfortable. Each room has a bed frame, a cupboard, a table, a chair, and charging ports. The rooms are neat and have enough space for daily use. The washrooms are clean and well maintained. Safe drinking water is provided through a water purifier. Lift facility is also available, which is very helpful. Overall cleanliness of the hostel is good and hygienic. The quality of food is medium. Chicken and egg are served twice a week. Regular South Indian food is provided for meals. Rasam, pappad, pickle, and curd are available every day. For breakfast, dosa, idli, poori, and bread are given. Chapathi is served for both lunch and dinner. After completing the admission process, we can apply for hostel stay. We need to fill out a form and make the payment. After that, the hostel staff allots the room. Different room options are available such as dormitory, three share rooms, and two share rooms. Overall, the hostel provides good facilities and a comfortable living environment.

A three share room , with three cots and table 2 fans and shelves. Free wifi with limited connectivity.Hostel toilets are not that clean. The meal quality is of average, cleanliness is the main issue and also the quantity is very limited and less. The availability of good rented rooms and pg is less around the university

Hostel and room are really good, mostly it is double or triple shearing for PG students, and single shearing for PhD schoolers, hostels are well mentained and clean. In point of hostel mess the food is ok ok... not that great, but eatable, at really affordable cost, per day at 74 rupees only.But the nurition value of the mess food is really poor.

Facilities provides in the room are good and meal ans quality and menu are good i like everything i this university they the locality i rented a hostel room as 12000 is soo good in this university
