B.Tech, Civil Engineering at NIT Jamshedpur in 2021
I belongs to civil engieering, with this perspective I'm sharing my view. View will be different based on the branchs, Yeah Faculties are well educated here. almost all faculty teaching style arey just amazing. but some faculty do partiality with some students in term of giving marks. I like 5 6 faculty because of their teaching style but one faculty name KK sharma set hardest Question Paper and give good marks to them who is his favorite students, whom he knows very well and except of these students, he gives E, F and P grades.

Faculty to students ratio is decent. And yes some faculties are very approachable and supportive, they will guide you not in just academic but through your life too.
We have a calculus faculty Mr Ramayan sir, he's a great teacher and a great person. He's very approachable.
There is a engineering chemistry faculty named SK Prasad sir, he's very rude to students and doesn't teach properly so I personally don't like him.
In one semester we have 2 exams mid sem exams and end sem exams, i would rate difficulty of exams with 4 out of 5.
And currently they have changed their curriculum so it's more relevant to our industry now.

B.Tech, Mechanical Engineering at NIT Jamshedpur in 2024
The faculty to student ratio is very nice in my department of Mechanical engineering around 40 faculty is there @ 120 students.
Some faculties are really supportive and and promote you to explore new things.
Some faculties are really strict and focus on the subject curriculum.
Within 20 to 30 days of course there is always exams and quizzes.
There is one mid semester exam and one and semester exam the level of difficulty of examination is moderate to difficult no exam is going to be easy. Faculties always surprise with new questions.
