How are the placements at IIT Dhanbad?

From 4th semseter students are allowed to sit in Campus placements and From 3rd semseter students are allowed to sit in Intership placemetns. Our Average package is around 21LPA and IIT ISM is a bit unique as here you will find very good packages in Circutal branch( its obvious) + you find very good packages in other branches as well like Minearl and Metallurgical, Petroleum etc.

The placements of our college is good for some branches like cse, ece, petro engineering.. and moderate for remaining branches. Most of the students are placed every year without failure. Also most of the students also try for off campus placements.

Our college has a good placement record with 70-80% placement. Our college's average placement salary is 18 lpa, highest package oncampus is 66 lpa and highest package offcamous can go upto 1 crore.Top recruiters in our college are Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Goldman Sacs, Amazon, PhonePe, Tata steel, Vedanta, Bajaj, Baker Hughes, etc.

Placements are decent for cse and circuital branches. Also petroleum and mining are best in the country. Decent packages for top branches but others will suffer, if you wanna go to SDE route. So better choose top ones.

Placement are good. If you want you can get easily if you come in this criterion. Most of branch offer placemnt of 20 to 40 lakhs per annum. Cs offer the highhest placement cost. Internship also offered here with good offer
