How are the hostels at IIM Rohtak?

The mess menu is predecided for a whole season, the food provided is clean and safe to eat and drink, and as per norms. The mess is open for 4 meals a day at particular timings. The hostel and mess fees are affordable and true to the value of money.

your room may/may not be spacious depending upon your luck and the hostel you are allotted. in the room you are provided with a wifi, a table+chair, bunk beds and an almirah. you may get an additional cupboard if you get a spacious room. you may have attached/common toilet again based on your hostel. the rooms are air conditioned and you have to pay the electricity charges. the mess food is fine i would not say it is very good or very bad. it can get better but it is still reasonable given that many colleges' mess are very poor. menu is very diverse. the registration process for hostel and mess is quite simple you don't have to do much formalities. i think the hostel is affordable at 30000 p.a. i guess they've increased the price for the next batch.

IPM is a residential program and thus, students have to compulsarily live on campus. For the first 2 years, 4 students live together in 1 room. From the 3rd year onwards, students live in pairs of 2 in one room and each room has its own attached washroom. All the hostels on campus have AC's in their rooms along with washing machines and drinking water facilities. The mess amount has to be paid compulsorily and it is a one time payment done at the beginning of the year. The mess menu has a variety of different meals everyday and the menu changes once every one month

4 bunk beds in a single room . Meal quality: 7/10 on average. Hostel and mess fee amounts to 85k per year which is pretty reasonable You can stay in a rented room or pg in rohtak city which is 10km away

The room is not that spacious for 4 people. We are provided with free wifi, bunk beds and cupboards. The mess food is good and hygienic and is provided 4 times a day. The hostel charges are ?36000 and the mess charges are 56000
