How are the hostels at IIM Ahmedabad?

The hostel must be taken by the students who studied in IIMA because its rules.The hostel facilities at IIMA campus are mostly single rooms and some are have bedroom,hall and kitchens and group of students can live with in them.The single rooms have a bed,almirah,table and chair.The room is includes with bulb,fan,tube light and attached balcony.If students needs more cold air according to temperature conditions they can set coolers in summer season to avoid the warmth.The washroom are having water geyser.The meal charges are includes in the mess and students can pay one time or daily.The quality and taste is maintained in all meals if any students complaint about the food quality then they avoid the mistakes in future.

The hostels at IIMA are majorly single occupancy barring a few BHK set of units where students do share rooms (even though these are majorly blocked for PhD scholars). The single occupancy rooms are furnished with a bed, an almirah, a side table and an accompanying chair. The room is equipped with tubelights, bulb, fan and an attached balcony area (in majority of the rooms). Students do end up installing air coolers on their own especially during the summer and monsoon seasons to avoid heat and humidity. The shared washrooms are equipped with heating geysers as well. The meal is part of the mess subscription (one-time or recurring, as per the student's wish). The food is high in quality and taste is maintained in almost all meals. Any meal with a poor feedback is never repeated, and the menu is made with the aim of incorporating all cuisines of food encompassing all kinds of Indian dishes. Hostel accommodation is mandatory or all students pursuing MBA at IIMA. The registration is pre-made and no additional formality needs to be completed.

The facilities provided in room of hostels are mainly in lockers are available in each bed locker. The best review is Non Veg meals are waste but Veg meals are good quality. It's haven't registration for hostel. I located in near by the college in almost 1 year at rented room.

The hostel rooms are said to be great in terms of infrastructure and also have AC in almost all of them. Some are available in twin sharing and some in single sharing. The hostel fee is included in the yearly fees of the college which shall be taken care of by the loan too. The meals are said to be hygienic and tasty too. It's the top management school in India so its standard is of top class too.

The new campus accommodation is comparable to a 5-star hotel. Single accommodation with attached washrooms. There is plenty of light and tables and cupboards. The campus mess serves delicious food and we have 4 outlets other than the mess on the campus. Bhavesh bhai is open for students up to 2 am every night and 5 during exams.
