Studies at IIT Madras

To pursue MTech at IIT Madras, candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

You must have a valid GATE score from 2022, 2023, or 2024.
You must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (BE, BTech) or a master's degree in Science (MSc).
BTech graduates from any IIT with a CGPA of 8.0 or above can apply without a GATE score.

If you meet these criteria, you can apply for the IIT Madras MTech program through the official website of IIT Madras
