What is your review of PGP-ABM (PG Programme in Agribusiness Management), IIM Ahmedabad?
The 2-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM) at IIM Ahmedabad is a great course. It teaches agribusiness management. The program trains agriculture and allied managers.PGP-ABM covers agriculture production, marketing, supply chain management, finance, and policy analysis. IT is also stressed in agriculture management. The program includes agribusiness internships and field trips.
The PGP-ABM program at IIM Ahmedabad requires a written test, group discussion, and personal interview. Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% grades or comparable CGPA. Agriculture or related experience is preferred.

- The courses offered lack expected importance and recognition in India. But, there is a great demand for forestry management abroad, where several career options are available.

What is better at IMT Ghaziabad PGDM or PGDM DCP?
Both programs have their own advantages and disadvantages so the answer would largely depend on what you want from your MBA. The DCP program of IMT Ghaziabad is a very unique course where students get to study at a partner (foreign) B-School and have a compulsory international immersion program. In terms of placements opportunity, I don’t believe they are doing anything exceptional as regards to the fee they are charging for this partcilaur course but if you want to explore universities abroad you could definitely join IMT for their DCP program.
Their flagship PGDM program is a 2 years full-time residential program where you will have to choose your elective at the start of your second year and you’ll also be given a chance to fill out the application for the student exchange program. PGDM should be your obvious choice if you’re given both option and you’re not adamant about living in Dubai.
Are there any prospects for government jobs after I take the PGDMM course from NITIE Mumbai?
There is no such Govt. agencies visiting NITIE Mumbai placement drive. Although it offers good placement opportunities in the private sector. For the academic year 2022, the average CTC offered to students during the placement drive was INR 17.5 LPA.
If you want to join the Govt. sector, you can join PSUs, through the GATE examination. But you won’t get govt. Jobs through campus placement.
Should a candidate interested in studying finance and economics join the ABM course at IIM Lucknow?
I think the PGP course is a better option if you are interested in Finance and Economics. This is because the ABM program offers the choice of only one option during the second year. The electives of the first year of both the programs ABM and PGP are the same. They comprise important topics like Micro and Macroeconomics, Financial Reporting and Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Financial Management.
Most importantly you will be missing out on Finance and Economics courses. Some ABM students are diligent enough to sit through these classes despite everything.
There are no major differences in the placement scenario of ABM and PGP. Though I will recommend you go for the PGP program of a more reputed institute. Through ABM you will have to resort to self-learning more.
Which is better TAPMI OR IMT-DCP Gaziabad for PGDM MBA?
IMT Ghaziabad is a better option than TAPMI for PGDM MBA because it has better infrastructure and placement opportunities. The faculty strength is also good, with experienced and well-exposed faculty members.

Which MBA is better, IMT Ghaziabad (dual country course) or an MBA from BITSOM Mumbai?
Too close to call. Both are good choices to consider. On the other hand, if I have to take a call, I will most likely use BITSOM. Based on the below-mentioned reasons;
- Has a clear and compelling vision. aspires to be one of the best schools there is. Has aspirations on a worldwide scale.
- Has recruited highly qualified faculty and teams
- Very strongly supported
- Being open to making investments.
Therefore, it's possible that both will be tied in the short term, but I have a feeling that in the long run, BITSOM will pull ahead. The MBA, on the other hand, is strictly a long-term investment.
Can I get an HR role of I pursue pgdfm from iifm Bhopal?
The Indian Institute of Forest Management has courses with specialized choices of subjects related to Forestry. For pursuing a career in Human resources, IIFM may not be a very good choice, but it is always possible to do the same.
The points below state how the institute is not quite suitable for an HR-based role.
- The curriculum and subjects taught are related to domains like environment, management of natural forests, development, sustainability, conservation, and livelihood, etc. So, even being a management institute, IIFM is not quite suitable for the development of students in general management subjects like HR, finance, sales, and marketing, etc.
- There are some subjects related to basic management but are mostly on the environment and its conservation. But, there are several students of IIFM presently working as HR managers of different companies. Therefore, it depends on the choice of interest of the candidate.
Therefore, choosing a career in HR being at IIFM is not a wise decision, but not an impossible one. It is the choice of the candidate as to where he/she wants to land in the industry.

I got MBA PGDM in IMT-DCP and MBA marketing in Tapmi. Which is better, which should I join?
Since you haven't mentioned your background or favorite stream, I'll answer generally. Both schools seem fine. You can take IMT if you want to work in marketing. In your case, DCP's fees are a bit high, but you get a good amount of exposure. You can take IMT if you want to work in marketing.
