If you are planning to pursue a course in law (BA LLB or BBA LLA), then you should definitely consider the School of Legal Studies, REVA University..
You will be able to Interact with legal luminaries, judges, and practicing lawyers while attending legal aid programs and participating in moot court activities. All of this makes REVA’s School of Legal Studies the best for legal education in India.

Coming to the hostel facilities, NIT Kurukshetra has more advanced hostel facilities. NIT Jaipur too has decent hostels and has an incredible life outside campus owing to its location.

NIT Kurukshetra>MNIT Jaipur>NIT Jalandhar >NIT Silchar
All the aforementioned colleges are among the best B Schools in India so the choice between them depends on your preference and future prospects. You need to determine what exactly you want from the program and where your career currently is.
In general, ISB is for people who have better industry experience, good leadership skills and decent academics. The other B Schools focus more on excellent academics throughout your career.
The ranking of these institutes in my opinion is ISB, IIM-A, B, C>IIM-L, FMS, XLRI,>SPJIMR
The above preference order is based on a number of factors like career progression, college market value perception, quality of faculty, quality of students, academic learning, quality of recruiters and infrastructure.
The university offers good academics to students who want to learn. The faculty base is decent. In 2021, Uttaranchal University NIRF ranking was 150 for engineering. The placement opportunities offered by the university are decent. According to the recent placement highlights, the average and highest CTC offered by the university are 4.20 LPA and 22.50 LPA, respectively.
I have given the preference order of the above-mentioned B Schools. However please remember this is based on my personal opinions and not any official figures
1st: NMIMS is one of the best schools in Mumbai with fewer fees and great specialization in Finance. Its distinguishing feature is its small batch size which is extremely beneficial for excellent placements. The companies that visit offer the best roles to their students mainly because of their credibility and strong alumni network.
2nd: SPJIMR too is located in Mumbai and is the second-best School after JBMINS. Its students intake is very good due to the strict selection process. The placements are at par with JBIMS but the fees are a bit higher. It's ranked in the top 3 in Operation and IT specialization in India.
3rd: One of the oldest institutes for MBA, IIFT is a good choice owing to its strong brand name and small batch size.
4th: SIBM Pune is a blend of everything; a Good campus, good corporate competition, hostel life, good infrastructure, faculty, and placement. It gives you an amazing MBA experience l.
5th: NMIMS Mumbai is great for MBA and is at par with SIBM. But I have ranked it the last owing to its high fees and larger batch size that requires a lot of competition during placements.
So the ranking is
NMIMS>SPJIMR>IIFT>SIBM Pune>NMIMS Mumbai
IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Calcutta, all three are good choices for Finance and Consulting roles. If you get a single convert from among the three, you should grab the opportunity at the earliest.
If you have more than one convert, you should choose the institution that best suits you. You can decide based on location and other such factors. All three are at par for finance. Even IIM Lucknow is doing well and has a strong alumni base now.
Thus, you can go for any of the three IIMs for finance as all are top-ranked institutions.
MHRD ranks colleges on the basis of various aspects besides academics. One of them is infrastructure. Unfortunately, NIT Calicut has a poor infrastructure in comparison to other engineering colleges. Weak administrative measures are to blame for this. The college authorities are not utilizing the funds provided by the central government to the fullest extent.
We can only hope that the infrastructure and other facilities at NIT Calicut improve. If this happens, the rankings of NITC will also improve.
I don’t know if you are enquiring about the Management department of the Engineering department but it’s a verified fact that IMS is a very reputable college and offers excellent courses.
It has been ranked 8th in North India and 45 all over the country in the rankings of top B schools in India from the survey of Times of India. IMS ranked 39th among private colleges by IIRF Ranking 2023. Overall it has a good reputation in the B School family.
NIT Raipur has not been ranked in international rankings because it still hasn’t reached the level where ranking bodies would consider it credible enough to be ranked. They consider a number of criteria while evaluating colleges such as Employment Reputation, Ph.D. faculty, Citations per faculty, Intentional students, and Intentional students. Sadly, NIT Raipur is way behind other NITs at least on the basis of the aforementioned criteria.
Here is a short comparison between NIT Raipur and NIT Rourkela that will help you understand this better
The above-stated points prove further why NIT Raipur hasn't been included in international rankings yet while NIT Rourkela has.
