NIET is putting in a lot of effort to help students get placed by offering extra classes that teach skills beyond the usual curriculum. They've recently teamed up with Pyramid Finishing School, which is all about getting students ready for jobs. They hold sessions on things like resume writing, body language, grooming, and group discussions. You get to practice speaking in front of everyone, which is pretty cool. From what I've seen, not many other colleges in Greater Noida are offering such extra classes, especially on weekends.

In my opinion, NIET is a solid choice for CS and IT in Greater Noida. And just a side note, the student crowd here isn't too bad either!

Deciding on whether to join IIM Kashipur can be quite a puzzle for MBA hopefuls. It's normal to feel uncertain because doing an MBA is a big deal that requires a lot of time, effort, and money. So, when you're choosing a B-school, you're really thinking about what you'll get back from all these investments.

Whether a business school is a good choice can vary a lot from person to person. Someone with very high goals might only be interested in the top schools like IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, or Calcutta. Despite its impressive facilities, IIM Raipur is a non-profit government institution with fees that are more affordable compared to many private schools.

Thanks to the IIM Bill, IIMs can create their own curriculums. IIM Raipur offers flexibility, allowing students to craft industry-relevant courses and even specialize in more than one area, opening up more career paths.

6. Life at IIM Raipur:
Beyond academics, there are plenty of ways to get involved, like case study competitions and student clubs. These activities help build leadership and interpersonal skills while creating lasting memories.

Of course, like any college, there are a few downsides. The food might not match up to home-cooked meals, but it's better than typical engineering hostel food. Raipur might not be a top-tier city for luxury, but it has decent hangout spots and is well-connected by air, which helps with corporate networking. Honestly, with a rank of 33k, it's tough to secure a seat in the merit quota. You might need to consider the management quota instead. Now, regarding engineering colleges in Hyderabad for women, here are some good options:

• BVRIT Engineering College for Women, which is considered one of the best in Hyderabad
• G. Narayanamma College for Engineering and Technology, another top choice
• Vasavi College of Engineering, ranked second

Honestly, getting selected in IIM Kozhikode is a great achievement, but if you feel like aiming for a better IIM next year, it might affect your chances a bit. • Salaries range from 6 to 14 lakhs, depending on skills.
• However, for branches like Mechanical, Civil, or EEE, placements are fewer, with about 40% securing jobs.
• Non-circuit branches have fewer placements compared to circuit ones.
• JNTUH is one of the top colleges in Telangana, aside from BITS and IIT Hyderabad.
• The curriculum is well-structured, with schedules and exams planned in advance.
• Some professors are very skilled, while others are average.
• First-year syllabuses are completed on time, and some teachers offer extra sessions.
• Students are encouraged to learn independently through resources like NPTEL and YouTube.
• The first-year hostel has strict anti-ragging rules.
• There's also an international hostel for students from countries like Nepal and Africa, offering 2 BHK flats shared among 2-3 students for ?6000 monthly, excluding food.
• The campus has two libraries, including a digital one with fast internet and access to paid journals.
• A new sports complex offers facilities like a gym and courts for various sports, with cricket tournaments held between branches.

Cons:

• There's no strong alumni network, and convocation is only for department toppers.
• Career guidance is lacking, and there's no bus service for day scholars.
• A minimum of 75% attendance is required.
• The college could benefit from more advanced labs, better playgrounds, and more field trips and industrial visits for practical learning.
• Additional facilities like a swimming pool and gym inside the sports complex would be beneficial.

Of course, CBSE students can join Kumaraguru College of Technology. I applied for the Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Civil Engineering) and got in through the counseling route. My cutoff was 165, which was sufficient for admission. The college has a friendly admission process, and I found the staff helpful throughout.

If you're from outside Tamil Nadu, you'll need to take a management test and aim to score above 90 out of 100. After that, there's a general interview. They typically focus on your extracurricular activities, sports involvement, and how diverse your background is.

For your school marks, it's good to have at least 95% in PCM if you're in State or CBSE boards and 90% if you're in ICSE. As for SNU, it's managed by the same team and located on the same campus, so you can expect a solid academic atmosphere.
