You can apply for the Bachelor's Degree Programme (BDP) at IGNOU which includes the BSc programme. One such course is LSE or Life Science. You need to select elective courses in Life Science first.
IGNOU has a credit-based grading system. This requires you to complete 32 credits in a single academic year. This totals 96 credits in 3 years.
For the first year 16 credits will be from foundation courses. Other credits will be from your elective courses.
For a major degree you need to have 48 credits from the subject you wish to major in.
In the 3rd year it’s decided whether you have a BSc (zoo) or BSc (bot). This depends on the choice of your subjects.
BSc in Biology also required lab courses. These constitute about 25% of your marks and attendance is compulsory.
Take a second elective from the rest (maths, physics, chemistry) such that it carries at least 8 credits.
If you are still having difficulty understanding the credits visit the university’s official website.
The required prerequisite for doing a B.Stat at Asutose College is 50% in the 12th standard. Having Statistics/Mathematics in your 10+2 is mandatory.
Students who have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination and have also passed the English test with full marks of not less than 100 are eligible to apply.
If you have a lapse of more than 3 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination or the cessation of a recognized regular Course of Study after passing the previous qualifying test, then you are not eligible to apply.
To determine eligibility for admission to the Honors Course, add the marks in the top four subjects. Marks obtained in mandatory Environmental Education/Studies, on the other hand, will not be factored into the final grade. You must have a minimum of 50% in aggregate and pass Mathematics.
Students from the SC/ST or OBC categories need to have a minimum of 40% in the previous qualifying examination.
One of my friends pursued his B.Sc in Finance from NMIMS. Based on his input, I might be able to help you with your question.
If you have any misconception about having fun while you are here, drop it already. As at NMIMS you probably would not have time to do so. Just so you are fit for corporate culture, they train you in such a way that you don't face any problem in the future.
Since you have an inclination towards Finance, you would realize that everything you had endured was worth it in the end. And if the situation is the opposite, you'd be left far, far behind in the Finance race pulverizing yourself under constant pressure.
M.Sc Chemistry at IIT Kharagpur is a five-year integrated MSc course offered by the Department of chemistry.
In the first year, all the courses will be the same for all the departments. Out of these courses, only one is chemistry. Other courses are from other departments like Electrical, computer science, Mechanical, Physics, etc. Here, you are given a chance to explore at least one course from most of the departments. Based on your performance in first year (i.e CGPA) you can change your department (also called Depc). But for this, you need to get a CGPA of more than the cut-off CGPA of the department to which you want to change.
For instance suppose, Electrical Engineering department has a cut-off CGPA of 9.2 for DepC then you need to get a CGPA of more than 9.2 for DepC to Electrical.
From the second year most of the courses will be from your department. Though, there will be a few courses from other departments as well. So, yes you will be studying mostly Chemistry from the second year onward. you can look at the complete Curricula Subjects List here
Some of my friends studied at Pondicherry University. According to them, they offer three Integrated M.Sc programs –
You will have to choose from these three disciplines only and then choose the major subject among them.
The advantages of the course and university are listed below.
Studying 5 years in an Arts stream is difficult and should be reconsidered. The best course is Physics, Chemistry, and Applied Geology. Doing M.Sc in Computer Science is also not a good idea.
I have a few friends from the Statistics department. Based on the things I heard from them, I will say the department is quite great. Professors are well-qualified, strict and they never miss any scheduled class.
Attendance is taken seriously in the department. You won’t be able to slack off. You also have to study seriously for the tests. Because if you fail in sectionals, you won’t be able to sit for finals.
If one has the option to secure admission into Calcutta University for B.Sc in Physics they should immediately apply for it.
As compared to other universities that are based on research institutes and teaching is secondary to them, Calcutta university is different as they put emphasis on education and keep it a top priority.
It is one of the oldest universities and has matured with time. They have the best physics teachers and labs that are available in India. The course curriculum set by the college is tough and the marking pattern set by the faculty makes it difficult to score the marks making it stringent. But this is the best thing about the University as it prepares the student for further studies and makes them well aware of the competition.
More information about the college is given below in a tabular form to make things clearer and understandable as to why choose Calcutta University for B-Sc physics.

The college stamp on the certificate also plays an important role in the future, therefore, if one has the opportunity to take admission to Calcutta University they should definitely join the college.
Both the courses are good.
However, with the advancement of technologies like AI and ML, and one’s increasing dependency upon them, Data Science has become a field with immense potential.
Data Science has a lot of future scope, and its demand will only increase with time. This field requires a good understanding of Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science (Especially Python Language).
BSc. in Data Science is an even better option than CSE at present. Moreover, college-wise, IIT Kanpur is way ahead of IIT Dhanbad.
Therefore I would recommend you choose BSc. Statistics and Data Science at IIT Kanpur over CSE at IIT Dhanbad.
IIT Bombay's Geology and IIT Roorkee’s Geophysics are well recognized for their excellent curriculums and research facilities.
However, IIT Roorkee or IIT Bombay depends on your preference and career goals.
For History, you have to do BA in History and not BSc in History. As for the eligibility, yes science students are eligible for BA in History. Most colleges conduct merit-based admissions so make sure your 12th score is good enough. Some colleges even conduct entrance exams to shortlist the students for which you will have to prepare beforehand. Most top colleges accept marks higher than 85%.
