How are the placements for MTech students in IIIT Hyderabad?
IIIT Hyderabad MTech placements are decent but obviously not as good as BTech placements. The main reason is that UG students get to spend more time in IIIT than MTech students. So if you are an MTech student, you need to prepare well in your summer holidays and the 3rd semester to perform well in placements.

I am a CSE student at IIT Patna and I will try to justify why choosing IIT Patna for your
CSE is a good decision. Don’t base your choice on how old an institution is.
All the new IITs like IIT Patna or IIT Jodhpur are doing exceptionally well, some are even competing against the old IITs. IIT Patna has a great campus and it has achieved tremendous success in a short span of time.
CSE department has a learned and supportive faculty and great seniors. The teams have always performed exceptionally well in the ACM-ICPC and have even made it to the world finals. A good number of students clear the GSoC( Google Summer of Code).
NJACK club organizes tutorial classes and workshops on Web development, App development, Android, etc. It also organizes competitions like Capture the Flag, NWoC-an open source coding event, and other competitions throughout the year.
Other interdisciplinary teams which you can join are ROBOCON, Supra BAJA, HPVC etc.
CSE alums at IIT Patna have made successful startups and others are working in good positions at top MNCs. Overall, the coding culture over here is excellent.
The placements for the CSE department are quite impressive. For 2023 placements, the highest package stood at INR 82.05 LPA. The average package stood at INR 35.57 LPA and the median package stood at INR 32.85 LPA. 98.65% of students from the CSE branch were placed.
In the end, whether you choose IIT Jodhpur, IIT Mandi, IIT Patna, or any other institution, the choice should be based on your personal preference. However, I would suggest you choose IIT Patna CSE as I am quite satisfied with my choice.
What is better for marketing NMIMS Mumbai or SIBM Pune??
According to the reviews online both NMIMS Mumbai and SIBM Pune have their fair share of pros and cons. THey each are better in their own way.

Instead of institutes, you should compare programs. Assuming that you are comparing the ISB full-time program (PGP) with the IIM one-year full-time program, IIMA PGPX, here are some of the things that you should consider.
- PGP is the flagship program for ISB. While PGPX isn’t the flagship program of IIMA.
- Scope of peer learning at IIMs is limited. Since the average work experience for students are around 8-9 years and there are few students from new-age start-ups. ISB student crowd have participants with 2-years to 20-years of work experience. So, you will have better exposure and industry contacts.

Could someone share their experience of interview at IMT Ghaziabad?
The IMT Ghaziabad interview process includes three rounds: CT, GE, and PI. In the CT round, candidates are given a topic and 20 minutes to write five points either supporting or opposing the topic. In the GE round, candidates are given a case study about a specific topic and 20 minutes to devise appropriate solutions and present them to the panelists on a chart paper. In the PI round, a panel of two faculty members will ask the candidate questions, which may include questions about their background, academic record, current affairs, and hobbies.
It is important to be well-versed in your subject, have a good understanding of current events, and be able to speak knowledgeably about your hobbies during the PI round. Additionally, it is important to be honest and truthful about your background and experiences during the interview process.
What are some short interview session experiences at IIM selection?
Everyone has different interview experiences. Usually, IIM interviews take around 15-20 mins. At first, there’s usually an introduction round. Students are asked to talk about themselves. After the introduction, they usually move on to questions regarding academics, work experience, current affairs, etc.
Through the interview, they try to test your knowledge and capacity to handle pressure. During the interview, stay professional and try to answer the questions confidently.
How bad is Pondicherry University?
There are various ways in which a University can be termed bad. According to some of my friends who study there, Pondicherry University is not good due to the following reasons:
Uncooperative Faculty -
- The faculty does not give good internal marks and does not teach the subject in the class for the entire degree duration.
- More than 60% of faculty doesn’t provide a double-digit score in the internal assessment.
- Classes are not conducted regularly. It has been seen that they usually taught in 1st year only and you have to study on your own for the remaining time.
Unfair Evaluation-
- There is no correct answer evaluation at Pondicherry University. The papers are evaluated casually.
- Deserving students are often failed in the examination due to the carelessness of the teachers.
Last-Minute Decisions -
- The decisions at Pondicherry University can be taken at any time.
- There have been many cases where exams get rescheduled without any prior notice. This creates problems for students coming from other states as they have done their flight/train bookings in advance.
These can be the reasons why Pondicherry University is not good. There are a lot of provisions which could be improved.
