There are multiple options to choose from when it comes to choosing the right engineering college under CUSAT, the fact that it’s got an amazing campus is a bonus. It is a good place for anybody who wishes to cultivate learning and is passionate enough to go through the engineering training programs.

One of my friends told me that these three institutes must be in this order like; IIIT A>>> NIT Bhopal>= NIT Rourkela. Although he was a student of NIT Rourkela.

He stated that between these three, Rourkela and Bhopal are more or less equal. However, both of these institutes consist of some advantages and disadvantages as well. 

If NIT Bhopal is considered and compared with NIT Rourkela, then it must be said that NIT Bhopal's strength is a large batch size; IT+CSE. But the main advantage of NIT Bhopal is the location and nearby airport transport facilities that conceal all the advantages of this institute. For this reason, NIT Bhopal experiences big recruiters every year, and NIT Rourkela misses this entirely. This is the reason why NIT Bhopal is one step ahead of NIT Rourkela.

However, at NIT Rourkela, M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is almost similar to doing M.Tech in IITs. But in the case of Bhopal, the students can sit for placements for all the big companies in the campus recruitment process along with B.Tech companies. It will be better to avoid IIIT Allahabad for doing M.Tech in CSE, as placement opportunities in this institute are not good. This thing is that IIIT Allahabad does not allow M.Tech students to attend for placement in the on-campus recruitment process.

Thus, it can be stated that for the B.Tech course, IIIT Allahabad>> NIT Bhopal> NIT Rourkela.

Among the above two institutes, MANIT Bhopal is definitely the better choice, considering the placement scenario of CSE.

• Considering the recent placement data, MANIT Bhopal (NIT Bhopal) is a better institute than IIIT Allahabad. In MANIT Bhopal, a maximum salary of about ?40 Lakhs per annum is offered to students in Computer Science and Engineering.
• The NIT brand fame has a higher glory than the IIIT fame among relevant industries that offer placement opportunities.
• People often get confused as IIIT Allahabad has a lower opening and closing rank in comparison to MANIT Bhopal IT. But it is because of the location advantage. Most students from UP and neighboring states prefer Allahabad over Bhopal. So, this has no relation with the quality of the institutes or opportunities provided by them.

So, considering the placement scenario and opportunities in both the institutes, it can be concluded that NIT Bhopal (MANIT) is a much better institute than IIIT Allahabad.

The hostel rooms and the facilities provided to the girls at NIT Trichy are similar to the boys' hostel. Here are a few highlights of hostel facilities for girls at NIT Trichy

• The rooms of the girls' hostel are very comfortable and the first-year students are allotted triple occupancy rooms while from the second year double occupancy rooms are allotted to every student.
• Students dont get to choose their roommates in the first year but can do so from the second year.

• The girls' hostel has a variety of facilities from several messes for eating, to a baker, a photocopy shop, a basketball court, an air-conditioned computer lab, a laundry shop, and a beauty salon.
• As per the hostel rules, girls cannot leave the hostels past 9 pm during weekdays and 9 30 on the weekends. However, they can stroll inside the hostel premises.

So, the girl's hostel at NIT Trichy is well-furnished and provides the best amenities one could ask for.
