Which is better: AIIMS Patna or AIIMS Raipur?
As one of my friends is from AIIMS Raipur, I have some knowledge about it. Let me share some of the facts of AIIMS Raipur:
- Many students claim that Raipur is a better place to stay than Patna.
- The academics here are really good and are constantly updating.
- The faculties are highly experienced and very cooperative.
- The faculties even come up with certain tips and tricks which help the students to easily remember theories or experiments.
- The first year MBBS students are housed in 3 BHK flats with each room shared by 5 students.
- The 3rd year students get single rooms with attached bathrooms, if there is vacancy. If not, 2 students live on a sharing basis.
- All the necessary facilities are available, like 24hrs hot water supply, etc.
The college organizes functions for various occasions. Students get to witness marathons, dance events, streetplays, and all sorts of cultural and sports activities. Therefore students at AIIMS Raipur are quite well off.
Do CS companies recruit ICE students at NSIT?
Yes, most companies coming for CS students at NSUT also allow ICE students to sit for placements. Only a handful of companies like Rubrik and Tower Research restrict students from other branches to appear for their placement rounds. Some companies, although very few, don't even allow IT students to sit in the placement round.
In general, companies have a CGPA criteria of 7+ and if you qualify, you will be eligible for almost 99% of the companies. IT giants offering hefty packages around INR 40 LPA usually have low cutoff criteria of around 6 CGPA and allow students of all branches to participate in the placement round. In all, around 75% of the recruiters come with computer-related jobs out of which 90% of companies allow ICE students. So at NSUT, you can easily be recruited by a CS company if you have a good CGPA.

Which is better, Osmania or JNTU H?
It's difficult to determine the better university between Osmania and JNTU Hyderabad as both universities have their unique strengths and weaknesses. However, I have listed some common points of difference to give you a slight idea
- NTUH is relatively younger than JNTU which was established as early as 1918.
- JNTUH has 4 different sets of question papers like the pattern of CBSE Board exams while Osmania University has a single set only.
- There are more than 200 colleges under the umbrella of JNTUH while Osmabia has only 7 colleges under its affiliation.
- A 70% in JNTUH is considered the highest grade i.e. A+.while in OU it's easy to score around 85-90%.
- NTUH syllabus gets updated every 2 years while the OU syllabus remains the same throughout a decade and is therefore irrelevant to the current trends.
Rather than saying one is better than the other, I would say, both OU and JNTU are proficient in diverse academic fields. in their educational performances. JNTUH is better for engineering while Osmaniya is better for the medical field.
