With 95% in CBSE, should I try for a B.Com (Hons) from DU or pursue a BBA from Christ University?
Both the colleges are well known and the degrees that you want to pursue are in high demand. However, it depends on your interests and preferences. A BBA degree from Christ University focuses on the various aspects of marketing, business administration, management, operation and human resources. The B.Com degree from Delhi University focuses on finance, commerce, economics and accounting. Another factor that you must consider is the location of the college and which is more comfortable for you. Both the colleges have active campus life but Christ is the winner because of the multiple events, fests and club activities that take place every day. The placements for both the courses are satisfactory. So, give it a thought and choose the degree that you are passionate about.
What is the difference between BBA and BBA (Finance and international business) courses at Christ University?

What is the daily routine of an IIM Indore IPM student?
There is no fixed routine for an IPM student at IIM Indore. It will vary from person to person. Mostly you will have 4 classes in a day on average starting from 10:15 AM and going on till 4:15 PM.
Some days you may have no class and someday you may have 6 classes. But 4 classes in a day is pretty common.
Apart from the academics, you will have other commitments such as group projects, live projects, research studies, worrying about internships, clubs and committee works as well as fests, hangouts with friends and many more.
You will get to sleep 10 hours a day sometimes and on other days you will hardly get 2 hours of sleep in a day. On average, the day of an IPM student starts at around 8 AM or 9 AM and goes on till 2 AM or 3 AM at the midnight.
How is IMS Ghaziabad for a BBA?

- Infrastructure: The college is on NH24 and can be easily located. But the major issue is availing public transport due to its location. The building is huge 5 stories with an A/C centralized a/c. There is an auditorium, board room, Sports archive, MDP room, Meeting cabins, and many other amenities. There is also a football court and the library is secured with fingerprints and fully decked with all academic books, journals, and newspapers.
- Canteen: The campus has a six-storied boys and girls hostel. There is also a mess facility where day scholars can pay a minimum of 70/- to get a good meal. There is an air-conditioned canteen as well to satisfy all cravings of the day, which is also a good place to hang out during lunch.

Is Alliance University, Bangalore good for a BBA ?
Alliance University, Bangalore offers a rigorous BBA program that aims to provide a comprehensive learning experience and equips the graduates with skill sets such as analytical, technical, interpersonal, decision-making skills. Students seeking to obtain admission at this institute must have completed 10+2 from a recognized school. Students who want to pursue BBA are required to appear in Alliance Undergraduate Management Aptitude Test (AUMAT) which is followed by a Personal Interview. The graduation program is for 3 years for which the tuition fee is 2 lakh per year.
Times B-School Survey ranked the Alliance University at 19th Best B-School in India, including IIMs and Government-run B-Schools. The institute is also accredited by International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), USA.
Most of the students are recruited in Financial Services, Information and Technology, and Infrastructure in the department of Account manager, Relationship Manager, HR Business partner, etc. Top recruitment firms like Amazon, Byju’s, Godrej, Paytm, and many more visit the campus for placements. The overall placement percentage of the institute is 92%. The average package which a graduate receives is 5-6 lakh p.a. whereas the highest package offered is 9-10 LPA.

How good is Sharda university for BBA?
There is no doubt that Sharda University is one of the well-known universities providing on-campus recruitments. But if you think of pursuing a BBA, you should have a clear vision regarding your future.
One of my friends who studied at Sharda University mentioned that the BBA program provides an in-depth knowledge of management theory & practices. They also give adequate industry exposure.

It should be well planned as BBA would not allow you to work with prestigious brands. One such option that you can go with, after completing your BBA is MBA that provides you ample opportunities to enter into the corporate world.
How are the IPM IIM Indore hostels?
The hostels at IIM Indore keep changing over the years you spend in the college. Initially the first-year students are provided double occupancy rooms with the same gender. After the first year, single-occupancy rooms are made available
The basic amenities include
- a fan
- basic lighting
- furniture for storage
- study table
Only mattresses are provided while the rest of the bedding is to be arranged by the inmates only.
There are no attached bathrooms and about 5 to 8 rooms share one set of bathrooms which comprises two commodes, two bathrooms, and two wash basins.
The hostels do not have washing machines, however, there is a laundromat, as well as the services of an on-campus washerman, are available for a nominal price.
You are not allowed to bring your own electrical or electronic appliances like air coolers, refrigerators, individual TV sets, etc. You cannot bring your own vehicle also except for bicycles.
As far as the campus is concerned, classrooms are well-equipped and the campus has multiple mess and food joints, grocery store, medical center and medicine shop, fruits and vegetable store, washerman, barber, bank, post-office, ATMs, courier dispatch and delivery, photocopy and print shops, gyms and sports centers, and even two temples.
The lack of anything more than basic aims at facilitating a basic lifestyle at the hostel and not a lavish one.
Is NMIMS BBA worth paying 2.5 lakhs per annum?
If you are an average or above-average student, seeking an enjoyable college life, wanting to avoid spending a fortune, and do not need great company placements, then joining NMIMS may not be the best option for you. NMIMS is known to have strict policies and can remove students from college at any time without mercy, which can negatively impact your mental and physical well-being, finances, and career. Additionally, there is no academic or exam coordination between their colleges, and if you are not in NMIMS Mumbai, you may face difficulty in exams, as the topics may not have been covered or the evaluation may be too strict. Even past students who opted for re-evaluation later failed.
The placements are not commensurate with their reputation or the fees charged. The topics covered in BBA are of MCom level, which can be challenging for science students. Therefore, if you seek peace, cost-effective education, and wish to avoid loss of years, you may want to consider other institutes like Christ University, which provides better value for money. NMIMS BBA may not be suitable for middle-class students, science students, above-average students, or students aspiring for MBA entrance.
Which one is better: JIMS Kalkaji or JIMS Vasant Kunj for a BBA?
Having friends in both colleges, I am able to say that JIMS Kalkaji is better than JIMS Vasant Kunj. Following are the reasons why:
- It has been consistently regarded as the top B-school by several business Magazines.
- They have collaboration with Harvard Business School Online, USA.
- They also offer various certification courses which students can choose according to their wish.
- Subjects such as PDP, Business Analytics, Advanced Excel, Digital Marketing, Financial Services are being offered to keep pace with the world.
- It has tie-ups with some of the most prestigious Du colleges such as Jesus & Mary College, CBS, and Ramanujan for National Level Quizzes and Debates.
