Being a student at IIT Delhi pursuing my B.Tech in Chemical Engineering has been an amazing journey so far. I’m in my second year of B.Tech in Chemical Engineering at IIT Delhi, and I have to say, the education and exposure here are unmatched. The faculty is highly educated and engaged in research, which enhances our learning experience. The coursework is rigorous but rewarding, covering essential subjects like Thermodynamics and Process Control. The placement opportunities are also noteworthy, with top recruiters coming in. If you’re someone who values a dynamic environment and high earning potential, IIT Delhi would definitely be the better career path compared to a SSC level government job.

The internship prospects are vast, and the financial rewards from quant firms are significant, making it a smart financial choice. In contrast, while DTU’s B.Tech Biotechnology has its merits, the placement statistics and salary packages are usually lower compared to IIT Delhi. So, if you’re passionate about mathematics and aim for high-paying tech roles, IIT Delhi is the way to go; however, if you’re leaning towards biotechnology and its unique career paths, DTU is also a solid option.

Studying B.Tech Engineering Physics at IIT Delhi has been both challenging and rewarding. The courses are structured in a way that they keep us updated with what's happening in the industry, though I do feel some topics could use a refresh. The campus life is vibrant with so many clubs to join, and the faculty is really accessible.

Looking ahead to placements in 2025 and 2026, I’m optimistic. The placement cell works hard, and major firms like Mahindra and TCS come here. I've heard that the internships are quite lucrative, with stipends reaching up to 75,000, which is pretty great for a student.

I'm currently in the B.Tech Energy Engineering branch at IIT Delhi, and I have to say, the curriculum is quite challenging but super interesting! The faculty here is top-notch, and exams are tougher than JEE, which keeps us on our toes. As for placements in 2026, I've heard that companies like Ola and Bajaj come to recruit. The highest package last year was around 4 Crore for international roles, so I’m hopeful for a good outcome when I reach my final year.
