How much should one get in the JEE Mains exam to get admission to IIIT Hyderabad?
The admission criteria for IIIT Hyderabad through JEE Main exam is based on multiple factors, such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, the availability of seats, etc.
However, to get admission to IIIT Hyderabad, candidates need to clear the JEE Main exam and secure a good rank in it. Generally, the cutoff for IIIT Hyderabad through JEE Main is relatively high. For the year 2021, the cutoff for admission to IIIT Hyderabad through JEE Main for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was 1064.

Can I get admission in an LLB after doing a BA from YCMOU?

What are the fundamentals of the counselling for admission for an MTech in IIT Roorkee (as they send call letters a to lot more students than are required?
Most branches conduct direct counseling without any official written test or interview.
- Every department is assigned a fixed time slot for counseling and you have to attend the counseling of the department you have applied for.
- Candidates are summoned on the basis of their GATE score/rank
- First, students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category are counseled. Those with a good rank are eligible to sit in General Category.
- Once the reserved category counseling has been wrapped, GC students are called.
- Anyone who is unable to get a seat can fill out a form for waitlisted candidates to be eligible for further rounds. Submit your DD along with it.

Here are a few points of caution one should consider regarding counseling
- Your branch preference cannot be altered once you have filled out the application form. For instance, if you chose VLSI>Communication and then want to opt for Communication despite getting a seat in VLSI, it won’t be possible.
- Assemble all necessary documents including DD and photographs in case you get a seat.
It’s important to note that not all students summoned for counseling get a seat.
Is it difficult to take admission in NLSIU Banglore?
According to some of the student reviews, I read online, I would say that the answer depends on your preparation for the entrance exam CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) if you wish to get into any National Law Schools/Universities in India.
Every exam is competitive since there are so many other students appearing for the exam along with you. NLSIU's intake is very minimal when compared to others. Its syllabus is quite challenging and the students there get prepared as quite good lawyers.
Roughly, you will have to make sure that you rank in the first 50 in All India Rank (AIR) if you belong to the general category, and you get a little more margin if you belong to any reservation category.

The weights assigned to different parameters are 56 to CAT score, 10 to class 10 marks, 15 to class 12 marks. So you will need to score at least 80+ marks in class 10 and 12 to get into IIM Calcutta.
Is it worth leaving a Rs. 65K per month job to join IMT, Ghaziabad?
Leaving a job with such good pay is a very risky decision and should be considered only if it’s the top B School you are after. These include the top IIMS, XLRI, FMS, SP JAIN, or MDI. Giving up your high-paying job to join IMT Ghaziabad does not make sense. The ROI will not be worth the program considering the two-year opportunity loss of salary and high IMT fees.
Moreover, IMT Ghaziabad placements are quite restricted in the sense that if you are not among the top 100 students in a batch of 600 students, you will end up with an average package only. The companies visiting IMT Ghaziabad offer the MT position usually to freshers and not students with work experience. Considering all this I don’t think leaving your job for an MBA from IMT Ghaziabad is a wise decision.
Can one get into FMS Delhi after having a year back in graduation?
To begin with, FMS does not take into account your graduation grades when making final hiring decisions or shortlisting candidates. Only your 10th and 12th-grade marks are taken into account, and they are only worth 5 points each. As a result, the grades you received in previous exams will have little bearing on you.
When it comes to a year back, it's becoming increasingly difficult to explain this. Any B-School expects you to have at least average grades on your previous exams.
Whatever is done is done, and it is recommended that you do not focus solely on one college, but rather keep your options open, and then prepare well for the CAT, because if you do not perform well in the CAT, all of these discussions are futile. It's better to think about all of this after the CAT because even if you don't get calls from these colleges, you'll have done your best and will be happy in whatever B-School you choose. So, first and foremost, prepare thoroughly for the CAT.
