How do I get my IGNOU ID card after taking admission in the MA programme?
To get your IGNOU ID card you need to visit your IGNOU regional centre. You can collect it from there. The ID card should have a stamp of IGNOU on it which makes it valid. If you will download your IGNOU ID card online, it does not have the stamp making it invalid. This will be a major problem in your exams.
It is highly possible that IGNOU does not mail your card. Most of the time you will have to visit the regional centre personally to get your IGNOU ID card.

Is DTU better than some IITs?
It depends on which generation of IITs you are comparing DTU with. If you are comparing it with old IITs like IIT Delhi, Madras, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Guwahati, Roorkee, and Bombay, then the answer is no, DTU stands nowhere near them.
However, comparing DTU to the new IITs like IIT Hyderabad, Indore, Mandi, Jodhpur etc you will find that DTU fairs better in terms of alumni network, and has better placements than new IITs. You can say that DTU roughly lies somewhere between the old and the new IITs.
Within India, you will find DTU to have a strong brand name because of its rich legacy of being the mother institution of IIT Delhi and NSIT. But internationally, only IITs enjoy recognition and hardly any foreign companies are aware of the DTU brand name.
Is IFMR, CHENNAI worth the fees of 14 lakh for MBA for a b.com fresher who is going to finance it through education loan?
Yes, you should definitely consider going here and it will be worth the loans and finances you invest into this college. One of my friends has taken admission in IFMR through an education loan. He says the institute is totally worth it. The amount you invest in your education will not only depend on the return on investment but also on growth opportunities.
- At IFMR, you will see a mix of extensive and rigorous study but great packages and good opportunities.
- Once you enter the college, you will realize why the fees demanded from students are so high.
- From my knowledge, the place is a nonprofit organization. This means, you will get what you pay.
- It has great hostels, faculty, and a mess with all-around growth even if you are a lazy student.
Both placements and the packages offered here are very good. It has a 100% placement record since the college began 40+ years ago. In the 2020 placement drive, the highest CTC offered was INR 13.6 LPA with an average CTC of INR 9.37 LPA. Some of the top recruiters include JP Morgan and Chase, Deloitte, Cognizant, and HDFC Bank.
Now since you are specifically talking about a loan, let me assure you that you can come to IFMR without any hesitation. This college has excellent placements and growth opportunities in market-leading MNCs and you will definitely be able to cover your education loan. In the long run, you will able to make money hands over fists. Your return on investment will be good.
From what you can see above, the packages offered at IFMR match industry standards as well. Therefore, you clearly don’t have to worry. It is value for money and you can take an education loan without worries.
How are the hostels in AIIMS Bhubaneswar?
The hostels at AIIMS Bhubaneswar are strong, well built, and well maintained.
The UG and PG hostel rooms are almost equal in dimension but PG hostels are facilitated by attached bathrooms.
Boys will be accommodated as double occupants whereas a 2 BHK flat will be given to 3 girls. After 1 year, you will be provided single rooms.
Once you have the room, it is your responsibility to maintain it and properly take care of it without any damage. You will be provided with all the necessary facilities.
How good is MAKAUT for its students?
MAKAUT is an average university, especially for those who are extremely talented and want to get placed in core companies. All their talents will be left unharnessed here. It is bearable only for those who prefer mugging up the concepts o somehow make it into big IT shots like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Amazon.
Here are a few reasons why I will never recommend anyone to ever join MAKAUT
- Neither of MAKAUT colleges is visited by Core companies except for KGEC and IEM. A few companies that visit are below average and offer poor roles and packages. The good companies that visit don't find any suitable candidates due to lack of proper education and thus leave without any offers.
- The core streams are no good either considering the deteriorating infrastructure of most MAKAUT colleges. The colleges have two lathes out of which one might be not working for the Mechanical dept. and the electrical departments have broken motors and Circuit boards.
- The core branches have underqualified faculty and are least interested in teaching.
- The faculty dont encourage students to involve in project work and all the expenses related to projects are borne by the students alone.
- The syllabus is vast yet very lacking and even if you study everything you will not be qualified to crack any government exam or interviews. The syllabus lacks the basic concepts of engineering and thus even toppers of MAKAUT find it difficult to crack GATE, ESE, and other interviews.
However, there are a few exceptional MAKAUT colleges like KGEC and IEM. At KGEC, the faculty and facilities of the mechanical and electrical departments are way better than other colleges. Also, here you get Government funds if you work on projects under HODs and some teachers.
Ultimately, MAKAUT is an affordable choice for Engineering in IT, Comp. Science, ECE, and related streams.
How can I get a transcript from BPUT University, Odisha?
Here are the steps to apply for transcripts from BPUT -
- Fill the transcript form along with information on the number of transcript sets required by you.
- Write an application requesting transcripts, and mention the reason for the same.
- Get these two forms signed and sealed by the college authorities.
- Do an SBI collect online in favor of BPUT. The amount will be based on the number of sets per year required by you. It is 100 rupees per year, for one set.
- Print out the SBI collect online transaction page. It should have the reference number on it.
- Visit the college campus, and handover all the documents to the concerned authorities.
You’ll get the transcripts in a week, or one and a half week’s time. The demand draft is no longer accepted, and has been replaced by SBI collect.
What is your review of Vasavi College of Engineering(Autonomous)?
The institute you decide to enroll in isn’t going to determine your growth. It rather depends upon what you choose to do. However, it is suggested that you join the institute based on your subject preference.
Here is a concise outlook of the institute:
- The faculty of the institute is extremely proficient and knowledgeable.
- Some professors hold Ph.D. degrees and are part of research in different departments.
- It has a good library that comes with many books, journals, etc.
- There are excellent placement opportunities for CS and IT students. However, it differs according to the market trends. The campus is visited by several core companies.
- It also conducts sports, clubs, technical and cultural fests.
- The labs are well equipped.
Disadvantages:
- Security is very strict, you cannot go freely in and out of the campus.
- The campus is small, including the sports grounds.
- Hostel facilities are not up to the mark.
- The interaction between juniors and seniors is very little.
Thus, make an informed decision. Go through as many reviews as possible before finalizing. As this will shape your career ahead.

How do I get good marks in engineering exam in mumbai university?
For the name correction, follow the steps given below
- Fill out the name correction form, which is available in your college, and get it signed and stamped by the college authorities.
- The next step is to attach the xerox of the mark sheet with the correct name and the xerox of the mark sheet with the incorrect name to the correction form. Don’t forget to highlight the correct name on the Xerox using a marker.
