What is the selection criteria for the NITIE?
NITIE offers 5 postgraduate diploma courses. Admission to each course follows a specific selection process. My brother is a student at the institute so I can give you some insight regarding this.
In NITIE, only people from Engineering backgrounds are allowed to take admission. The following are the criteria for the same.
- Minimum 60% marks in 10th, 12th, and graduation for the general category (55% for backward castes).
- CAT percentile for PGDIM, PGDISEM: 97.5 for General category (drastically lower for backward castes).
- GATE cut-off for PGDIE, PGDMM and PGDPM – Varies from branch to branch.
- Work Experience – Students in their final year can also apply. If you have more than 5 years of work experience then choose executive courses like the one offered at Great Lakes or ISB.
- After these qualifying scores, you get a shortlist for the GD/ PI process.
- Weightage to your 10th, 12th, graduation scores, work experience, performance in GD/ PI to generate a final score.
The merit lists are created based on the final score. You will be selected if you are on the list.
Being a non-engineer OBC girl candidate, at what percentile can I expect a call from IIM Udaipur
Your gender and category play a very insignificant role in determining your chances of getting admission. As a girl you will be given 5 marks extra owing to gender diversity. And your Category will require you percentile lesser than the general category. But these factors are not the major parameters for selecting candidates. The major criterias include your past academic records and work experience. The weightages allotted to these components can be checked from the official website.
Considering your profile here is my opinion regarding the percentile required to guarantee your admission.
- 90+ — 100% chances
- 85–90 - Almost 100% chances
- 80–85 - May or may not get a call though chances for getting a call are more
- 70–80 - Chances of getting a call are relatively low
Please note that this is guaranteed only if you clear category specific cut-offs.
I got 51 percentage in 10th and 65 percentage in 12th will I get admission in IIM kozhikode?
The admission criteria at all the IIMs changes every year. One year you may get admission with relatively low scores but the next year you might now get in even with a high score.
It all depends on the panel of judges and your luck. So my recommendation is that you should not depend too much on your 10 and 12 marks.
Go for the CAT and score 99 percentile. Chances are you will get admission even with low 10 and 12 marks. But without CAT you need better marks in 10 and 12 to make it into any IIMs.
What is the eligibility criteria to get admission in VBSPU University?
VBSPU eligibility criteria vary depending on the course.
- For UG courses such as B.Sc, B.Tech, B.Pharm, etc. students need to clear the 10+2 examination with at least 45% marks from a recognized board.
- For lateral entry into B.Pharm program of VBSPU, students need to complete D.Pharm with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
- For PG courses, the eligibility criteria are graduation from a recognized university.
- Students with valid PG degrees are eligible to apply for the Ph.D. courses.

Does BIMTECH accept a MAT score?
Yes, BIMTECH accepts MAT scores for admission but it is only for two of the courses they offer. Which are as follows.
- PGDM in Insurance Business Management (PGDM IBM)
- PGDM in Retail Management (PGDM RM)
If you are opting for any of these two branches and have a good score in MAT you do not need to worry about admission. Other than the MAT score the institute also conducts Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) for final selection. Prepare well for these rounds too. Stay updated with the current affairs. Questions can be asked in the personal interview from these areas.
Go for the above-mentioned programs only if you want to pursue a career in Retail or Insurance. These are niche fields of study, so choose these fields only if you are sure about the specialization. If you are not sure and have a better option, it will be wise to go for other options. So, weigh-in all the factors before making a decision.
How can I get admission in IIM Indore for a BBA? What is its eligibility criteria? What is its cutoff?
IIM Indore conducts an entrance exam called IPMAT (Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test) each year for its integrated management program. It is a combination of BBA and MBA.
You have to appear for the exam after your 12th. It is an aptitude test and will test your application skills in quant, verbal and logical reasoning. For applying you need to have a minimum of 60 percentile in 10th and 12th examinations.
The cutoff depends on the difficulty level of the exam. The section-wise cut-offs are released by the institute. You need to clear the section-wise cutoffs too in order to be selected.
What are the criteria of admission in PUMBA for an MBA?
I have a few friends from PUMBA, so I think I can give you some idea about admission to the institute. The criteria required in PUMBA for pursuing MBA is briefed below.
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate is required to have passed with a minimum of about 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, which is 45% in case of candidates who are either from backward categories or have a physical disability.
Admission Criteria:
Students are required to qualify for the MH - CET exam in case they belong anywhere from Maharashtra. On the other hand, students can apply through CMAT/CAT/MH - CET, if they are from outside of Maharashtra.
Course Structure :
For specialization, there is a provision of 5 main choices to opt from, which are namely Marketing, Finance, Systems, Human Resource, and Operations. In a nutshell, the courses of the institute are of two years, incorporating six trimesters.
The immediate two trimesters mainly prepare you for obtaining a strong foundation on several crucial subjects, such as Finance, Marketing, Systems, Human Resource, Operations. Alongside these, it also helps improve Communications skills, Information Technology, Quantitative Skills, and others in students.

Can I get a call from IIM Kozhikode with a 7/7/7 profile? I am an engineer male OBC/NCL with 99 percentile in the CAT.
Yes you will get a call for sure from IIM Kozhikode.
- Having a 7/7/7 profile is the sole stumbling block; otherwise, you have a high CAT Percentile.
- You also have an OBC/NCL background, which makes it considerably simpler to obtain a call from IIM K
With a profile comparable to yours and an OBC/NCL background, the required percentile will be somewhere near 98+. So, I believe you will receive your call unless they reject you due to your previous academic performance.
IIM Calcutta doesn't place much emphasis on past academics. Does this work in favour or against students during placements?
We need to clear the misconception that IIM Calcutta does not lay emphasis on your past academics. It very much does. You need a decent 85+ in 10 and 12 to get into IIM Calcutta.
Coming to graduation, its scores are also taken into consideration. I have seen instances where the candidate had 85+ in 10 and 12 and CAT score as high as 99.5. But he failed to get into IIM Calcutta because of a low graduation score around 60 although he was a non-engineer.
So it’s just a conception that IIM Calcutta does not place emphasis on past academics.
Is GMAT mandatory for MBA in France?
GMAT is required for only a few MBA universities in France like INSEAD, HEC, ESSEC and such. Most other MBAs will NOT need work experience, however, they are encouraged. Mentioned below are the average GMAT score of admitted students at MBA in France:
