WBMCC released a corrigendum notice regarding the Stray Vacancy Round of West Bengal NEET UG Medical Dental Counselling.
The West Bengal Department of Health and Family Welfare (MERT Branch) has released a corrigendum regarding the Stray Vacancy Round of WB NEET UG Medical and Dental Counseling 2024. The notice, dated 25th October 2024, corrects an earlier announcement published on the WB counseling website.
Key Clarification
Due to an inadvertent glitch in the previously issued notice (Memo No. HFW-23099/206/2023/M/SS(ME)/Spl./37/24), it was mentioned that candidates who were not admitted until round 3 of the State Counseling process were eligible to participate in the 2024 Stray Vacancy Round. This corrigendum rectifies that information, clarifying that only non-allotted and freshly registered candidates are eligible to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round of the WB NEET UG Medical and Dental Counseling 2024.
Eligibility for Stray Vacancy Round
-
Non-allotted candidates: Those who have not been allotted a seat in the previous rounds of counseling.
-
Freshly registered candidates: New applicants who have registered for the Stray Vacancy Round.
The rest of the original notice remains unchanged, and all concerned individuals are advised to take note of this update. This correction provides clear eligibility criteria, ensuring that only candidates who meet the specified conditions are permitted to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round for undergraduate medical and dental admissions under the WB NEET 2024.
