Tamil Nadu HSE +2 results released on May 8, 2026, with 95.20% pass percentage across 8,27,475 students. Girls outperformed boys with 97% pass rate, while private schools recorded 98.72% success rate.

The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) announced the Class 12 HSE (+2) results on May 8, 2026, at 9:30 AM. The overall pass percentage stood at 95.20%, marking a marginal improvement from last year's 95.03%. Students can access their provisional marks memo on official websites tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in using their registration number and date of birth.
A total of 8,27,475 students appeared for the examination, comprising 7.99 lakh regular candidates and 27,783 private candidates. The exams were conducted from March 2 to March 26, 2026, across 3,412 examination centres throughout Tamil Nadu. Girls demonstrated superior performance with a 97% pass rate compared to boys' 93.19%, continuing the trend of female academic excellence in the state.

How to Check Your Tamil Nadu 12th Result?
- Students must visit tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in to access their results. Click on the "TN HSE (+2) Result 2026" link on the homepage.
- Enter your registration number and date of birth exactly as mentioned on your hall ticket.
- Click "Get Marks" to view your provisional scorecard and download the marks memo for immediate use.

What’s Next for Students
Students who did not pass will be eligible to appear for supplementary examinations, with details to be announced shortly. Temporary marksheets will be distributed on May 13, 2026, enabling students to begin college admission and counselling procedures.
