The board has also increased the remuneration fees for examiners to INR 8.50 for every answer script.

New Delhi: Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released that students will be not allowed to apply for re-evaluation of their answer scripts from PSEB 2024 Exam. The decision was made considering the inconvenience caused to examinees due to result delays and technical reasons.
According to the official notification released, “The candidates appearing in the board examinations were (earlier) given the facility of re-evaluation by the board. As per the decision taken by the board in view of the inconvenience caused to the examinees due to the delay in declaring the result, according to this method and some technical reasons, it has been decided to discontinue the provision of re-evaluation from the March 2024 examinations. The facility of re-checking of answer sheets for the examinees will continue as before,”.
Increased Renumeration Fee for Examiners
Along with the above change, PSEB has also announced that the remuneration given instead of marking the solved answer sheets has been increased from session 2024 onwards.
The board’s official release states that the teachers marking class X answer sheets will now be paid Rs 8.50 per marked sheet as opposed to the earlier Rs 6.25 per answer sheet. The teachers assessing class XII answer sheets will be paid Rs 10 per answer sheet instead of Rs 7.50. The revisions will be introduced from March 2024 board examinations.
Along with this, to raise the standard of 11 Adarsh Senior Secondary Schools being run by the Board, PSEB has decided to implement some special changes regarding school activities, infrastructure, financial reform and teacher training etc. Uniforms of students studying in schools, prayers offered in morning assembly, school songs and logos etc. will be brought to uniformity.
The time table of group classes in these schools will be aligned so that during absence/vacation of a teacher, students using Kyan (online) can be taught by a teacher present in another school. A separate website of Group 11 Adarsh Schools will also be created which will be linked to the Board’s website.
