The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has removed the MBBS seats from the Meenakshi Medical College Hospital from the round one seat matrix for NEET UG 2023 counselling. Click here to know more!

New Delhi: The Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Enathur, Kanchipuram seats have been withdrawn by MCC from the round one NEET UG 2023 seat matrix. NMC has not granted recognition to the college for 2023–24 academic years.
The official announcement states, "Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Enathur, Kanchipuram has not received recognition from NMC for the academic year 2023–24. Candidates participating in NEET UG Counselling 2023 are hereby informed."
"As a result, the MBBS seats from the aforementioned institute have been eliminated from the seat matrix for Round 1 of the NEET UG Counselling 2023, and NMC/ MoHFW's response has been requested. Candidates who have selected this institute will not be processed during Round 1 seat processing," added MCC's notification.
MCC Released NRI List of Eligible Candidates For Round 1
The NRI list is available to candidates on the MCC's official website, mcc.nic.in. For NEET UG counselling 2023, these candidates have been provisionally changed from Indian to NRI based on the review of the documentation they supplied to the MCC of the DGHS.
However, if an NRI seat is offered to them, the candidates must present the same original documents while reporting; else, their admission may be revoked. The NEET Counselling 2023 round 1 seat allocation results are anticipated to be made public on July 29, 2023. Candidates must send their supporting files to the MCC website by July 30, 2023.
Documents Required For NEET UG 2023 Counselling
Following are the documents required at the time of NEET UG Counselling 2023:
- NEET Scorecard
- NEET Admit Card
- Class 10th mark sheet and certificate
- Class 12th mark sheet and certificate
- Valid, non-expired and government-issued photo ID proof
- Six to eight passport-sized photographs (preferably the same as the one submitted with the NEET 2023 application form)
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Disability Certificate (if applicable)
- Provisional allotment letter
