The DGHS has released the NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 State Counselling schedule. State-level counselling will run from September 18 to September 28 2026 with the last date for joining fixed on September 30 2026.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has released the NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 counselling schedule. The official notice is available on the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) portal at mcc.nic.in.
The schedule includes dates for All India Quota, deemed universities, central universities, and state counselling. Candidates must complete the counselling and joining process within the prescribed deadlines.

NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 Counselling Details
The Round 2 counselling process for All India Quota, deemed universities, and central universities will be conducted from September 15 to September 23, 2026. The corresponding state counselling process will run from September 18 to September 24, 2026.
The last date for joining the allotted institute is September 30, 2026, for both central and state counselling candidates. The MCC and state counselling authorities must share the joined candidates’ data on October 1, 2026.
The academic session for MDS courses will also commence on October 1, 2026.

How Is NEET MDS State Counselling Organised?
State counselling authorities conduct the admission process for state-quota MDS seats. Each state releases its own registration, choice-filling, seat-allotment, and reporting instructions.
Admissions to All India Quota, deemed university, and central university seats are conducted separately by the MCC. Candidates should regularly check the relevant official counselling portal for updates.
