New Delhi: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened the online portal for candidates from the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category to generate their PwD certificates to claim PwD quota in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) counselling 2023.
In addition to this, the council has also released a list of centres which will issue the PwD certificates to eligible candidates. The certificate is an essential document required to claim the 5% reservation in admission to UG/ Broad Speciality PG Courses through NEET 2023 scores.
Informing about the process, the official notice reads, “All candidates who have registered themselves under the PwD quota in NEET 2023 NBE form are hereby informed that the PwD portal for generation of PwD certificates by the Designated Disability NEET screening Centres is now open”.

Candidates have to physically visit their designated centres for physical examination and quantification of their disability. After which, the certificates will be issued by the centres in online mode through the NEET portal. Without the examination, the certificates will not be issued.
MCC informs. “candidates have to visit the designated Disability NEET screening Centres for physical examination and quantification of their disability and obtain PwD certificate generated online by the centre. No other certificate except the one generated through the MCC portal in online mode will be accepted at the time of admission”.
