KIIT Begins K-LAT 2026 Registration for UG Law Programs; Apply by January 9

KIIT School of Law has opened registrations for K-LAT 2026 for undergraduate law admissions. The entrance test will be mandatory for candidates seeking admission to BA LL.B, BBA LL.B, and B.Sc LL.B programs.

Applicants can submit their forms online till January 9, 2026, while the exam is scheduled for January 18, 2026. There is no application fee for the test, making it accessible for all eligible candidates.

Students currently pursuing their Class 12 exams can also apply, however they must submit their final mark sheets at the time of course commencement. The selection will be based on the entrance score and eligibility criteria as per Bar Council of India norms.

As per the guidelines set by the Bar Council of India, candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in Class 12, while those belonging to SC/ST categories require at least 40%.

Students appearing for their Class 12 exams in the 2025-26 academic cycle are also eligible to apply; however, they will need to submit their final pass certificate and mark sheets at the time of course commencement. The upper-age limit for admission will be applicable in accordance with the norms laid down by the Bar Council of India.
