Doon University Dehradun has opened admissions for UG and PG programs 2026-27 with application deadline on May 31, 2026. The entrance test will be conducted on June 18 and 19, 2026, with results announced on June 30, 2026.
Doon University Dehradun has announced admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the 2026-27 academic session. Interested candidates can apply online through the official admission portal at doonuniversityadm.samarth.edu.in until May 31, 2026. The entrance examination will be held on June 18 and 19, 2026.
Doon University is inviting applications from eligible candidates across multiple disciplines including engineering, management, languages, and social sciences. Separate entrance tests will be conducted for different programs based on prescribed syllabi. Admission will be merit-based, and results will be declared on June 30, 2026, followed by counselling from July 20 to 31, 2026.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with the required subjects mentioned in the program details. Minimum aggregate marks vary by program and category. SC/ST candidates from Uttarakhand are eligible for 50% fee waiver on tuition and other fees.
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Specific subject requirements apply to different postgraduate programs. Work experience may be required for certain management programs.

Doon University Admission 2026 Application Process Steps
Step 1: Register on the admission portal by providing basic details and creating login credentials.
Step 2: Fill the application form with personal, educational, and program preference information.
Step 3: Upload required documents in the specified format and size.
Applicants must submit scanned copies of their photograph (less than 500 KB) and signature (less than 500 KB). Educational documents including mark sheets and passing certificates must be uploaded (less than 1024 KB). Category certificates for SC/ST/OBC candidates must also be submitted if applicable.
Doon University Entrance Test Pattern
The entrance test duration is 2 hours with separate question papers for different programs. Questions are based on the prescribed syllabus for each course. Candidates should refer to sample papers available on the university website for better preparation.
