XLRI Jamshedpur Online PGDM Admission 2026 Phase 5 Ongoing; Apply by May 25

Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) Jamshedpur has opened the 5th phase of admissions for its 2-year blended Online Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs for the 2026-2028 batch. The application deadline for phase 5 is May 25, 2026, with interviews scheduled for May 30-31, 2026. Candidates can apply through the official XLRI online learning portal at xlri.ac.in/online-learning for three specializations: PGDM (Business Management), PGDM (Human Resource Management), and PGDM (Finance).

The XLRI Online PGDM is a 2-year blended program combining online learning with four mandatory campus immersion visits to the Jamshedpur campus. The program is AICTE-approved and designed for working professionals seeking advanced management education without interrupting their careers. Classes are conducted in evening hours, allowing professionals to balance work and studies effectively.

XLRI Online PGDM 2026 Phase 5 Important Dates

Eligibility and Application Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized university. Working professionals with a minimum of 3+ years of work experience are eligible for PGDM (Business Management) and PGDM (Human Resource Management). For PGDM (Finance), candidates with relevant work experience are preferred, and those holding CFA Level I & II or FRM certifications receive preference.

The application fee is INR 2,000 per program, with candidates able to apply for up to three programs in a single application form. The total program fee is INR 14.8 Lakhs, paid in six installments over two years. Partial fee waivers are available for women, SC/ST, PwD, and Northeast domicile students, each receiving an INR 1,00,000 waiver.

Program Features and Benefits

The PGDM programs are taught by eminent XLRI faculty members and experienced industry experts with over 24 years of experience in online teaching. Students can attend classes from any location using a laptop or desktop computer with stable internet connectivity. The program includes access to XLRI's digital library, career guidance support, and alumni network membership upon completion.

Four mandatory campus immersion programs of one week each are spread across the two-year duration, providing hands-on learning and networking opportunities. Students have the provision to take a temporary break and rejoin with another batch if needed. Top academic performers are eligible for scholarships of INR 50,000 at the end of the first year, and bank loan facilities are available for eligible candidates.

Technical Requirements and Program Details

Live classes require a laptop or desktop computer with Intel i5 10th generation or higher processor, 8GB RAM, Windows 10 or higher operating system, and stable internet connectivity of 2.6 Mbps or higher. Google Chrome browser (latest version) with a working camera and microphone is mandatory for attending classes. The program fee includes textbooks, reading materials, library resources, accommodation, and boarding during campus visits, but excludes travel costs.

Candidates selected for multiple programs will have separate interviews for each program. The admission process follows a rolling basis, with candidates shortlisted based on their application and then invited for personal interviews. XLRI reserves the right to change any program details, and all fees are non-refundable once paid.
