New Delhi: The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) has announced that the Kerala Plus Two SAY Improvement Exam 2024 will be conducted from June 12 to June 20, 2024, in a pen and paper mode. Students intending to improve their Kerala +2 Result 2024 can appear for Kerala Plus Two SAY Exam 2024, by submitting the application form online.

The results for the Kerala Plus Two Exam 2024 was released on May 9, 2024, by the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan, on the official website @results.kite.kerala.gov.in/, @keralaresults.nic.in, and @dhsekerala.gov.in/. According to the Kerala Plus Two results statistics, a total of 374,755 students appeared for the Kerala Plus Two Exams 2024, out of which, only 294,888 passed the Kerala Plus two exams 2024. The overall pass percentage is 78.69 per cent, which is less than last year's 82.95 per cent, i.e, a decrease of 4.26 per cent in the pass percentage compared to 2023. Therefore, the students who are not satisfied with their Plus Two results can apply for Kerala Plus Two SAY improvement exam 2024 till May 13, 2024.

Kerala Plus Two SAY/ Improvement Exam 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have registered for the Plus two Examination, March 2024 for the first time (Regular students) but failed to become eligible for higher studies can appear for the SAY/improvement examination. However, they've to register for all subjects for which they failed to attain D+ grade or above.

Compartmental candidates from the Second Year Higher Secondary exam in March 2024 can register for any subjects where they didn't achieve a D+ grade or higher.

Regular students who achieved a D+ grade or higher in all subjects in the Higher Secondary Examination March 2024 can take improvement exams to improve the grade of only one subject.

Private Compartmental Candidates cannot participate in Improvement Examinations.
Students taking the SAY/Improvement exam in Biology must take both Botany and Zoology papers
Candidates who didn't register for the Higher Secondary Examination in March 2024 cannot register for the SAY/Improvement Examination 2024.

Candidates must take the Terminal Evaluation (TE) for the relevant subject. The Continuous Evaluation (CE) and Practical Evaluation (PE, for subjects with practicals) scores from the March Examination will be retained. If a candidate didn't undergo Practical Evaluation before, they must do so during this Examination. Otherwise, they will be marked as absent for that subject.
All candidates who qualify for higher studies in the SAY Examination 2024 will receive consolidated certificates displaying their scores from both the SAY Examination and previous exams.
