For a new applicant, the exam city choices will be displayed based on the permanent and present addresses provided during JEE Main 2026 registration.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to open the online registration window for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 (April Attempt). Candidates who missed the first session or wish to improve their scores can soon apply through the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2026 provides a gateway for admission to undergraduate programs in top-tier institutions like NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs.
For the JEE Main 2026, the NTA has structured the application fee based on the candidate's category and gender. A male candidate belonging to the General category is required to pay ₹1000, while a female candidate from the same category pays a reduced fee of ₹800. For those in the Gen-EWS or OBC (NCL) groups, the charges are set at ₹900 for boys and ₹800 for girls. The NTA maintains a uniform fee of ₹500 for all candidates, regardless of gender, who fall under the SC, ST, PwD, or Transgender categories.
