IIM Kozhikode Sends PI Call Emails for MBA Admission 2026–28; Interviews from February

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) has begun sending Personal Interview (PI) call emails for the MBA/PGP 2026-28 batch, inviting candidates for the next stage of admission.

Candidates who meet eligibility and Stage-1 registration requirements must check their emails for interview dates, time, and venue information shared by the institute. The PI rounds are expected to be held across February and March 2026 to finalise admission decisions.

Candidates who successfully completed Stage-1 registration after receiving the initial call email are now getting Stage-2 PI interview invites from IIM Kozhikode. These calls are sent via the email addresses used during the application process. Only candidates with completed registrations will be considered for PI invites.

According to official information, IIM Kozhikode MBA’s admission process involves three stages:

1. Eligibility verification and Stage-1 registration
2. Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI) based on composite scores
3. PI/WAT performance and final selection
4. Only Stage-2 calls (PI invites) confirm your interview slot.

Most candidates are reporting interview schedules spread through February and March 2026. While exact dates vary by candidate, the institute plans to complete the interview round before late March 2026. Many aspirants on discussion forums are sharing their dates and asking for the earliest possible interview schedule, suggesting a rolling interview calendar based on availability and batch size.

PGP vs PGP Finance Interview Schedules

A common question among aspirants is whether PGP and PGP Finance candidates have the same PI dates. At most IIMs, including Kozhikode, the selection process and PI scheduling can differ slightly depending on the programme and number of shortlisted candidates.

Both PGP and PGP-Finance programmes follow similar shortlisting and interview formats (PI + Written Ability Test), but the exact interview dates might not be identical for all candidates due to scheduling logistics and separate merit lists.

How Candidates Should Prepare Now

• Check your email daily for interview details and venue communication.
• Download the PI call letter from the official portal using your CAT credentials.
• Prepare for PI and WAT based on common interview topics like goals, career plans, academics, and current affairs.
• Keep documents ready (CAT score, academic mark sheets, ID proof, etc.).

After the Personal Interview round is completed, IIM Kozhikode will prepare a final merit list based on CAT score, PI, WAT, and resume score. Admission offers will then be issued to selected candidates.
