IIT Gandhinagar MDes Admission 2026 Schedule Released

The IIT Gandhinagar has released the admission schedule for the MDes programme in Integrated Design and Technology for the 2026 academic session. The institute will begin the online application process on March 11, 2026, and the last date to submit the application form is March 31, 2026.

According to the official admission process, all submitted applications will be scrutinised to ensure eligibility for the applied programme. A category-wise merit list will be prepared based on the CEED 2026 score, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for the IIT Gandhinagar Design Aptitude Tests (DATs), which may include a studio test and/or interviews conducted on campus.

The final selection will be based on a combined evaluation, with 70% weightage given to the CEED score and 30% weightage to performance in the DATs. The institute will prepare the final merit list category-wise, and admission offers will be made according to the availability of seats.

The application fee is ₹150 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, while all other applicants are required to pay ₹300.
