Students will be immersed in exercises in conflict resolution through theatre-based experiences, explore the world of making organic paint, and delve into the worlds of free and open-source software (FOSS) and digital privacy to understand their significance in our world of rapidly changing technology.
In addition, they will participate in workshops on game development with a focus on social entrepreneurship, gender sensitization training, mental health counselling, science experiments, calligraphy lessons, cooking classes, culinary arts exploration, personality reading, and engaging in sports and cultural activities.
IIT Gandhinagar hopes to develop well-rounded individuals who not only have a broad variety of soft skills and hobbies, but also a wide range of technical knowledge by incorporating these many events and workshops into the foundation program.
