IIST offers merit-based scholarships for top performers. The top five students securing All India Rank (AIR) up to 1,000 in JEE Advanced receive full fee waiver for the first year, provided they maintain CGPA of 9.0 or above.

Students achieving CGPA 9.0 or higher in any semester receive 50% tuition fee waiver for the next semester, limited to 10% of admitted students per program. Additional scholarships through AICTE, NSP, and corporate sponsors like Reliance Digital are available for eligible candidates.
