New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Tiruchirappalli has successfully concluded ifs placement cycle for the academic session 2023-24, where the average salary of PGPM batch rise up to 20%, standing at INR 20.55 LPA and the PGP HR batch recorded a buoyant placements.

The IIM Trichy placement 2023, for the second PGP-HR 2021–23 batch was completed last year with an average salary increase of 18% to INR 15.82 LPA from INR 13.35 LPA the previous year. With a 22% increase to INR 41.61 LPA, the highest salary during IIM Trichy placements 2023 recorded a new milestone.

The number of PPOs offered to the students was increased by 49%. Commenting on the successful IIM Trichy placements 2023, Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, Director of IIM Tiruchirappalli, said that IIM Trichy has consistently worked to develop its students into elite leaders and the placement of the graduating class of 2021–23 is proof for the same.

Expressing his delights, Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, said that the institute has accomplished finest placement seasons wherein 99% of the batch got placed in December month. A total of 266 offers for PGPMs in the domains of Sales & Marketing, Finance, Consulting, IT & Analytics, and Operations were made by a total of 172 industry giants, while 24 offers were made for the PGPM-HR students.

This year, the highest and average CTC for PGPM were INR 41.61 LPA and 20.55 LPA, respectively. In addition, the institute has corded a 49% increase in the number of PPOs.

There was a total of 22% increase in the highest salary which has gone up to INR 41.61 LPA in 2023 from INR 34 LPA last year. However, there was an increase of 22% for the median salary of PGPM that stood at INR 19.50 LPA.

IT & Analytics emerged as the top domain with the highest salary of INR 41.61 LPA, while the operations emerged as the top domain with a 49% increase in the highest average salary of INR 24.90 LPA.
