IIM Sirmaur records a 39% increase in the number of female students in MBA batch of 2023. The number has increased from 0 in 2015 to 97 girl students in 2023; Check details here!

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sirmaur has recorded a gradual increase in the number of female students in its two-year MBA course. The female strength has gone up to 39% in the 2023 session from 0 girl students in 2015.
As per IIM Sirmaur, the institute has recorded an increase in the number of female candidates from 2016. In the MBA batch of 2016, one girl candidate secured admission in the batch of 35 students, which further increased to 15 girl students in academic year 2017.
Following the data, female candidates covered 24.59% of the total batch of 61 students in 2017. However, there were no female students in the batches of MBA courses in 2018 and 2019. The number has increased in the current batch, with 97 females in an MBA batch of 247 students.
While talking about other courses, IIM Sirmaur has received more female participation in its PhD program since the launch of the course in 2022. So far, there are a total of nine female candidates and four male candidates in a PhD batch of 13 students.
For the 2023-24 session, the institute has released the final offers for IIM Sirmaur MBA Admission 2023 on May 10, 2023. Registered candidates can check the final result on the official website at iimsirmaur.ac.in.
IM Sirmaur shortlists candidates for admission to its MBA program based on marks secured in qualifying entrance tests such as CAT/GMAT/IIM Sirmaur Test score followed by a personal interview round conducted by the selection committee.
