IIM Kashipur to Host Seventh Edition of Agriculture Startup Fair on January 27, 28

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM Kashipur) is preparing to organise the seventh edition of its Agriculture Startup Fair “Uttishtha 2024” from January 27 to January 28, 2024.

The ‘Agri Mela’ startup expo Mahakumbh of Agriculture Startups will be organised for two days at IIM Kashipur by the Foundation for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development [FIED] and IIM Kashipur e-cell with the support of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

The annual entrepreneurship fair is expected to bring together students of over 1,000 business schools, 20 vice-chancellors as well as about 100 entrepreneurs. It is held to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit and encourage innovation and collaboration.

Informing about the startup fair, IIM Kashipur FIED CEO Ram Kumar said, “Over the last seven years, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has supported over 140 startups with funding totalling INR 320 crore thanks to IIM Kashipur's Uttishtha-'Agri Mela' Startup Expo, which has grown to be a significant driver of agri-startup success”.
