Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) has officially released the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) fee structure for 2026. The revised fee details cover registration charges, other applicable fees, and tuition fees for various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered through distance learning.

As per the MKU DDE notification, the registration fee is INR 650 for UG programmes, INR 750 for PG programmes, and INR 1,250 for MBA and MCA courses. In addition, candidates are required to pay a postal charge of INR 200. A recognition fee of INR 400 will apply only to candidates who have completed their UG degree from universities other than MKU.

MKU DDE Admission 2026 - Tentative Schedule

MKU DDE Admissions have opened for the upcoming academic session. As per the tentative schedule, the online application process is open now and will continue till April 1, 2026. After the application deadline, the university is expected to release the shortlist of candidates in the second week of April 2026.

Document verification and fee payment are tentatively scheduled for the third week of April 2026. The final admission confirmation process may be completed by the end of April 2026. Classes for the new academic session are likely to begin in the first week of July 2026.
