JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Begins- Check Live Updates, Question Paper Analysis and Difficulty Level

As the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 has been concluded, the candidates can check the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Memory-Based Question Papers and JEE Main Shift-Wise Answer Keys to have proper analysis for the difficulty level of different shifts. 

The JEE Main 29^th Jan 2026 Exam for B.Arch/B. Planning has now been concluded, which marks the end of the Session 1 Exam. 

• As per the JEE Main 29^th ​Jan B.Arch Analysis, the exam was moderate, whereas the Aptitude section was scoring, and drawing was time-consuming.

The Difficulty level of JEE Main 28^th Jan Shift 2 was the same as Shift 1, moderate but lengthy and time-consuming.

The JEE Main 28^th Jan Shift 1 has been concluded successfully. The Difficulty Level was moderate to hard, with the exam being more lengthy and time-consuming. 

As per the JEE Main 28^th Jan Shift 1 Paper Analysis, chemistry and mathematics are lengthy and difficult, whereas chemistry is comparatively easier. 

The JEE Main 2026, January 28 Shift 1 Exam started at 9:00 A.M. and will continue till 12:00 P.M. Shift 2 will be conducted from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 for Jan 24 Shift 1 has now been concluded; the candidates are coming out of the exam center. As per the initial analysis, the exam was of moderate difficulty level. 

• With Mathematics being more lengthy and difficult.
• Whereas Physics and Chemistry were of moderate level.  

The JEE Main 2026, January 24 Shift 1 Exam started at 9:00 A.M. and will be continued till 12:00 P.M. As per the Expected JEE Main Jan 24 Shift 1 Paper Analysis, it will be of moderate difficulty level. 

According to student reactions, Jan 23 Shift 2 is likely one of the toughest shifts so far, mainly due to Physics difficulty.

In Jan 23 Shift 1, most students attempted 5-10 Maths questions, while in Shift 2, attempts ranged from 5 to 10, depending on time left after Physics.

In JEE Main Jan 23 Shift 2, Physics was the toughest subject. Students found it calculation-heavy, concept-based, and closer to the JEE Advanced level.

JEE Main Jan 23 Shift 1 was moderate overall. Physics was easy to moderate, Chemistry was time-consuming, and Mathematics was tough for most candidates.
