AMRU has announced HP NEET PG Round 3 counselling dates 2025–26 following reduced qualifying percentile criteria.

HP NEET PG 2025 Round 3 Counselling Schedule Released by AMRU

Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh, has officially released the Round 3 counselling schedule for HP NEET PG 2025–26 admissions. The notice applies to MD/MS courses under the state common/centralised counselling process.

This update comes after the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) reduced the minimum qualifying percentile for NEET PG.

Eligible candidates, especially in-service medical officers, must complete registration, choice filling, and related formalities within the prescribed dates to be considered for seat allocation.

HP NEET PG 2025-26 Round 3 Counselling Schedule

The detailed schedule for Round 3 of HP NEET PG counselling is as follows:

Last date to fill fresh online counselling form January 27, 2026 (up to 2:00 PM)
Correction of form issues (fee successfully deposited) January 27, 2026 (up to 5:00 PM)
Last date to fill and lock choices (Course/College/Quota) January 31, 2026 (up to 2:00 PM)
Round 3 Provisional Merit List January 29, 2026
Round 3 Final Merit List January 30, 2026
Round 3 Provisional Seat Allocation To be notified after MCC Round 3 allocation

NBEMS has reduced the minimum qualifying percentile for NEET PG 2025–26, allowing more candidates to participate in counselling:

  • General/EWS: reduced to 5th percentile
  • General PwBD: reduced to 5th percentile
  • SC/ST/OBC (including PwBD): reduced to 0 percentile

Despite this change, NEET PG 2025 ranks remain unchanged, as declared earlier on August 19, 2025.

All qualified in-service GDOs (Medical Officers) of Himachal Pradesh intending to participate in counselling must obtain the Incentive Certificate/NOC from the competent authority.

  • The cut-off date for incentive calculation is the date of NEET PG 2025 result declaration – August 19, 2025.
  • Incentive marks will be calculated only after completion of the mandatory service period, as per the PG/SS Policy 2025.

After the Round 3 seat allocation, candidates must follow the admission and reporting process as notified by the university. Those allotted seats will be required to complete document verification, including NEET PG scorecard, merit list, MBBS degree, internship certificate, and service/incentive certificates (if applicable). Candidates are advised to regularly check the AMRU website until the admission process is fully completed.
