HP Class 8th,12th SOS Result Declared on Nov 12 @hpbose.org; Check Details Here

The Himachal Board of Secondary Education(HPBOSE) declared the result for class 12th and 8th conducted in September. Students can check the result on the official website of the HP board; hpbose.org.

HPBOSE has promoted more than 9000 students of class 12th and over 220 students of class 8th for a higher grade. To check their results, the applicants will need to enter their roll numbers, which can be found on the admit card, in the result portal on the website of HPBOSE.

HP SOS Result: Steps to Check The Result

To check the results applicants will need to follow these steps.

• Visit the official website; hpbose.org
• On the homepage, click on the results tab
• Then select the result of the class you want to see
• In the next window enter your registration detail (roll number) and click on the search button
• Your result will be displayed
• Make sure that you download the result and take a print out for reference purposes

HP SOS Result: Class 12th Result

For the students of class 12, a total of 17859 students were registered with the HP board. Out of these 17000 students, nearly 9300 students have successfully cleared the exam while more than 6600 have failed to make the cut. 

The students who have failed will need to re-appear for the subjects for which they have failed and their results will then be declared separately. The overall pass percentage for class 12 students stood at 52%. 

HP SOS Result 2020: Class 8th Result

On the other hand, in class 10th, a mere 360 students appeared for the exam. Out of these, only 220 successfully managed to clear the exam while around 130 students failed to make the cut and will need to re-appear again. 

The pass percentage for class 8th students stood at 61% which is a fantastic improvement over the result of the previous year when only 37 students managed to clear the exam out of a total of 95. The pass percentage for that year stood at around 39% which is abysmally low by any standards.
