Haryana Board Reschedules Class 10 and 12 Exams; Maths and Geography to be conducted on October 19

New Delhi: The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has made significant adjustments to the examination schedule for Class 10 and Class 12. The authority is conducting the exam for class 10 and 12 students who have applied for re-appear, compartment, additional, and improvement.

HBSE had scheduled the Geography exam for Class 12 and the Maths exam for Class 10 students on October 20, 2023. The exams will now be held on October 19, 2023.

The board has said that the exam date has been changed because it clashes with the Common Entrance Test (CET) Group D exam which will also be held on October 20, 2023, in the State. 

Aspirants will be allowed to sit for the examination only after checking the admit card. Aspirants can check and download the admit card through the official website bseh.org.in. 

Aspirants should note that calculators and mobile phones are not allowed during the examination. Discovery of such equipment will result in the board registering the candidate for an unfair means case.

The Hariyana board will conduct the class 10 and 12 (Academic/Open) October exam 2023 from October 19 to November 11, 2023. In the BSEH Class 10 board exams this year, 35% of students did not pass, yielding an overall pass percentage of 65.43%. Among them, 69.81% of girls and 61.41% of boys cleared the exam. In the BSEH Class 12 board exams, 81.65% of students passed, with 87.11% of girls and 76.43% of boys completing the Class 12th exams in 2023.
