Those students who opted for online exams at Gujarat University(GU) have no clue as to their schedule of exams, as the university had organised a pen-paper examination before that. Read full story
After opting for online tests, GU students have become more uncertain about their future, not only because there is no timetable insight, but also because they have heard nothing about the university exam.
After GU offered online exams, almost 10,000 students in their final year courses and postgraduate courses had opted for the same idea that this would be a convenient option in the worsening situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.
These students were waiting to hear from the university.
They have no clue as to which type of device they will have to use; whether they will have to go to any exam centre or whether they can take a test at home; and what are the options for them in the event of any technical problems, sources in the university said.
In the meantime, GU has organised physical exams and more than 60,000 students have appeared and are now waiting for their final results.
Like GU, the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) also announced that it would organise online tests and have successfully completed more than 70,000 final-year engineering courses for students. Two rounds have been completed and the results have also been declared.
