GITAM School of Business, Bengaluru Hosts 2nd International Conference “ICLTBM-ITS’ on March 15-16

New Delhi: GITAM School of Business, Bengaluru has organised the 2nd international conference on “Latest Trends in Business Management in Innovation, Technology, and Sustainability (ICLTBM-ITS)”. The conference was held on March 15-16, 2024 at the GITAM School of Business Campus.

During the conference, more than 90 research papers were presented by scholars from more than seven countries. This presentation by scholars highlighted their enthusiasm towards business initiatives and discipline in the business field. 

During the GITAM School of Business conference, the best presentations received "Best Paper Awards”. Dinesh A U, Director of HR and Admin at Rittal India Pvt Ltd honoured the awardees as a chief guest. 

The recipients of the award at the GITAM Conference 2024 are as follows: 

• Manisha Seth, an associate professor at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow
• Gauwdami Poyyamoli, a student at Christ (Deemed to be University)
• Kritika Mathur an assistant professor at Dr B R Ambedkar University Delhi, awarded for general management 
• Liya Teressa Alex, a research scholar at the Central University of Tamil Nadu, recognised for marketing management
• Faisal Usmani, an assistant professor at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, honoured for finance and accounting.

The conference examined how businesses can utilise innovative strategies, technological advancements, and sustainable practices to succeed in the dynamic environment. Scholars from USA, Singapore, Oman, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, and Ethiopia participated in the event.

During the conference, Parthiban Bhavanisankar, Manager of ServiceNow, emphasised the role of technologies in driving innovations to excel in the current job market. KNS Acharya, Vice Chancellor of GITAM School, highlighted the significance of technology in enabling informed business decisions and offered encouragement to the attendees.
