The Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) has started the Final Phase Admission 2025 process for UG and PG programs today, September 15, 2025, and the last date for registration is September 16, 2025.

Registrations begins to secure admission in affiliated and constituent colleges/universities through the GCAS portal 2025. The process begins with admission cancellation, followed by registration, verification, and multiple final rounds of seat allotment.
Candidates can register, correct previous applications, and complete document verification using the direct link given at the end of this article. The subsequent admission rounds will be conducted on September 19 and September 22, 2025.
GCAS UG Final Phase Admission Important Dates 2025
According to the Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS), the UG Final Phase admissions will serve as the last opportunity for students seeking seats in affiliated and constituent colleges and universities across the state.
As per the official schedule, here are some important dates for GCAS UG and PG final phase admission process 2025:

Students are required to log in to the GCAS portal, register, update their academic details, and select their preferred University > College > Program > Major Subject combinations. Candidates who had previously applied but either did not confirm admission or cancelled it earlier will also be eligible to participate in this phase. Also, while registering, you must pay INR 300 as a registration fee at the GCAS portal.
GCAS PG Final Phase Admission 2025 Schedule
For postgraduate (PG) programs, the admission schedule will be relatively shorter compared to the UG phase. As per GCAS, registration and document verification will take place on September 15 and 16, 2025, at the designated centres.
The council has further clarified that students who had earlier cancelled their confirmed admission will still be allowed to participate in this round. However, candidates who had already received five or more offers but failed to accept any will not be considered for fresh offers during the final phase.
What are the Documents Required for GCAS Final Phase Admission 2025?
Students have also been advised to check seat availability on the GCAS portal carefully before locking their choices.
For UG applicants whose results are not auto-fetched, uploading a scanned copy of the Class 12 marksheet in PDF or JPG format (up to 200 KB) is mandatory. GCAS has made it clear that admissions confirmed in this phase cannot be cancelled later.
Once candidates confirm their admission offers on the GCAS portal, they must report to their allotted university or college for final verification. The following documents will be required at the time of reporting:
- GCAS Offer Letter (downloaded from the portal)
- Class 10 & 12 Mark Sheets (for UG applicants) / UG Degree Mark Sheet (for PG applicants)
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Passport-size Photographs
- Valid Government-issued Photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, etc.)

Is it Possible to Get Admission without GCAS Registration?
No, Students cannot get admission to UG or PG programs in Gujarat without registering on the Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) portal. The Education Department has made it clear that all universities and affiliated colleges will give seats only through GCAS even if the seats are vacant.
