Central Board of Secondary Education releases CBSE class 10 passing marks on the official website. As per the CBSE class 10 passing marks criteria, students must get a minimum of 33% marks to pass the CBSE class 10 examination.

Students must score minimum marks for CBSE class 10 in both theory and practical exams separately. Students must also score a minimum of 33% marks in the CBSE class 10 internal assessment to pass the exam.

CBSE Class 10 Passing Marks

Candidates scoring equal to or higher than the CBSE class 10 passing marks will be assigned grades ranging from A to E with grades A to D considered “Passed”. Students scoring less than 33% marks in the CBSE Class 10 exam 2025 will be considered “Failed” and such candidates will be assigned grade E. Students must score a minimum “D” grade in the CBSE Class 10th examination to receive the CBSE Class 10 pass certificate 2025.
